Beyond : Sci-Fi or Teenage Shows?

I don't get it, is this about science fiction shows or plain boring talking nonsense story line? Maybe I need fast forward to season 2.

I think it's meant to be sci-fi, marketed for teens/young adults. It's on Freeform, so that tells you a lot (their target demo is 18 to 25 year olds). It's a story line involving a lot of sci-fi and fantasy elements with flashbacks, so you do need to pay some attention to it. If only it were more engagingit'd be easier to pay attention to! (IMO)

I'm not sure there is a season 2 right now. If it hasn't been canceled (It's by Tim Kringhis shows usually peter out by the end of their freshman season) it's probably just in its regular hiatus period. Don't know when it would be returning to TV though.
