Don't you always hate when some idiot screams "pretentious crap" on a great film simply because they didn't get it? Well I hate that too because they always misuse the word "pretentious" but this show is actually pretentious.

Every show is overly pretentious. It transcends small town Americans to a deeper, higher life.
