Yup. To say the least, it was not Michael Collins's forward thinking vision of Ireland he fought forand was killed as a result.

Forward thinking? More education, enlightenment through secular education for everybody, more secular government to get it out of the hands of a repressive church? Nah. Let's get Eamon in there. A guy born in New York and a church puppet to perpetuate every backward tradition the poor island ever suffered.

Eamonthe guy who covered himself in glory during the Easter Rebellion by taking his men and holing up in a safe location behind walls and refusing to come out and fight when the going got rough. He hid out until the rebellion failed.
