I hope that's more comfortable for them. If I open up the cage to add anymore to the bottom of the cage, they will escape again.

Look dude, these birds are getting expensive. Why do they need a sheet over their cage? There are no sheets covering them in the wild.

They looked at me like I was crazy. I started covering their cage and they were very nervous when beforehand, for about an hour, they both had calmed down and standing near each other very still and watching me watch TV.

Amazing because that's exactly what I did. I used two old towels that I don't need to cover the cage and I left some space at the bottom for ventilation.
But not for 12 hours. It was more like 6 hours.

They are chirping for the first time!!!
They respond to sounds coming from the movies I watch.
It's odd cuz they respond to suspense.
Like right now it's the part of the movie where the dead body was found and the characters are burying it in the woods. So the music is intense.
And then yesterday, Sapphire tweeted to parts of a movie where the Asian characters were yelling and screaming due to mass hysteria.
They respond to sounds coming from the movies I watch.
