If that's true it's a serieus flaw in the movie. Everything she (and he) was doing could've been seen.
They walk around 24/7 but don't have camera's and look on them 24/7?

Re: Why no camera's in the cells and hallway?
Your statement is false there is not cameras in every cell. Some cells have cameras and then it depends on what camp you are at and what block you are on. Each one varies
Re: Why no camera's in the cells and hallway?
yeh i agree whit you.more camera=more evidences and the evidences=they don't can hurt the detainees!!
Re: Why no camera's in the cells and hallway?
Because they aren't on "Suicide" watch. Most prisons don't have cameras in each cell or hallway. They put them areas where large populations would assemble and in areas that are considered "blind."
I was there. The only cameras that were used were in those areas. They were also in each and every interrogation room. I can tell you that we never mistreated the detainees. Those that did get "mistreated" were punished for hitting, biting, spitting or abusing guards. Honestly, during my time there, the detainees were treated better than the soldiers that guarded them.

I thought that was the reason why a soldier checks up on each inmate every few minutes.
But seriously, the lack of CCTVs is a mystery. After spending millions constructing these camps, it would only be natural to install CCTVs in the corridors (if not inside each cell) so as to have a safe and dependable coverage of what's happening.
It's not necessary that such a system be installed to prevent mistreatment of detainees alone. It's just a useful alternative to monitor the inmates unobtrusively and also provides for a detailed recording of events in case of any major incident.

You can claim to have been there all day long.
