Bridget Fonda : worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

she looked old in touch even, in 1996 i was just watching this movie recently and was amazed by her looking old in this. i mean she looked hideous even bc she looked so old.

she looked really old in 1998's a simple plan which really amazed me bc it was the first time i ever saw her looking old. and to think she was only about 31 then is really amazing bc she looks 41.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

In Jackie Brown Bridget Fonda looked at least 25 while she was at the age of 33 in 1997. Through her short career she tended to play characters younger than her age, which is why we are seeing trolls shame her for aging like a actual middle-aged woman who decide to not botox her face.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

you're wrong. she aged horribly worst of all time. if you look at her in a simple plan and touch you'll know exactly what i'm talking about she looked way older than her age in these movies.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

She's playing older and world weary in that film, she's meant to look old. In Jackie Brown she convincingly plays a mid 20's surfer chick.
You're wrong, she aged normally.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

The screenplay from Jackie Brown says Melanie was 33, the same age as Bridget Fonda during filming. The character felt more immature compared to her A Simple Plan character, where Melanie could definitely pass for 20s. In Single White Female her character was probably 26 or 27, as she wanted to have start a family with Steven Weber.

If you see her in the movies she definitely had a more youthful appearance that lead to playing characters younger than age. It is why we are seeing the disgusting treatment from many sickos out of the wedlock to comment on the Daily Mail. People are afraid of the aging process. When a sexy actress in her 20s/30s retires before hitting 40 people think she'd maintain that look into middle age. Newsflash, even Hollywood starlets get older too.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

that's what is weird bc i remember her looking young in jackie brown, like 30. but in a simple plan she looks ancient like 45. but here is the point that cannot be refuted: when a girl looks old she looks old no matter what she does, she cannot look young.

so here is the thing: even if she somehow managed to look young in jackie brown after looking old in touch a year before the real thing is she looked old in 1996 and 1998 bc once an actress looks old they can never really look young after.

she looked old in 1996 and 1998. she didn't look young in 1997 bc it is impossible for a girl to look young after looking old they can do the opposite they can look old after looking young but not the opposite of that.

her looking young in jackie brown is an illusion of makeup or some other thing.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

She was playing a character who just had a baby and was a wife to Bill Paxton, who was eight years her junior when they filmed in 1998. The stripped down nature of the character is why you think she appears older in the movie, she is not the glamorous ingenue from her other movies. Still, she looks nowhere 45 in the movie. Through her last years in the film industry she still look young for her age, it just happen that she was approaching 40 when she made her last movies and in two of them she was playing momma roles at 37. If she'd continue on she was going to get plum mother roles that went to her contemporaries when they hit the magic number.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

just look at her in touch and get back to me ok? i was shocked literally shocked at how old she looks in this movie and i just saw her in this movie a few months ago and was floored bc her face looks so old in this movie and she was only about 30 when she was in this movie.

nope she looks at least 40 in a simple plan so maybe not 45 but at least 40 which is quite a bit older than her real age when she was in this. she was only about 30 then which proves she aged horribly.

just look at emily watson she plays a very older than her age character on the show genius i'm talking 55 year old very old looking not attractive at all woman. so they made her look a lot older than her like 45 year old age about 5 years ago.

yeah she would have gotten those old mother roles if she had gone on bc she looked way, 10 years older than her real life age in the mid '90s.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

You seem to skip my post about the photos from Touch. Now having just seen it from the first time last year I think she was playing about her age or slightly younger. She look young enough to be the romantic interest of the Skeet Ulrich who was six years younger in age.

In A Simple Plan Bridget was 34 while shooting. Again she look about her real life age and she was stripped down this time, not playing a ingenue but a mature character in the vain of Lady MacBeth. You are really exaggerating her oldness by some impossible metric you are using here.

She would have gotten mother roles because the industry is sexist towards middle aged actresses, even those with sex appeal like Bridget Fonda. Look at her SWF co-star Jennifer Jason Leigh. She made a career of craving out of playing damaging female roles and look younger than her actual age. Yet she is now relegated to mother roles. It's just the simple truth that Hollywood won't allow for any middle aged or older female portrayal outside of select group of actresses who get the pass from executives.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

no exaggeration just facts. the bridget fonda in a simple plan and touch are completely different than the bf in early '90s movies. nothing can change this. you seem to think you can somehow alter history.

what do you mean by middle aged or older roles? aren't these actresses at 35 or 40-45 this exact age? mother roles is the same thing as middle aged and older.

lukejbarnett

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

Not altering any of history, what I am giving is my perception of aging is different from yours. You seem to think Bridget Fonda look older in those movies while I think she was young, if not the same as her early ingenue movies. Going past the movies, look at her at the Inglorious Bastards premiere, where she still retained a beauty that made her look late 30s rather than her age of 45.

I mean middle-aged roles as 40+, which means Bridget never trapped into the tap because she quitted acting before she could transform into mature roles. You don't need to be rocket scientist to know actresses have a limited spotlight in the Hollywood scene, when you reach 40 it's the death sentence for most of their careers.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

but you said she did play a middle aged role in a simple plan she plays a middle age pregnant woman you said.

lukejbarnett

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

I said she was playing a mother/wife role. Those could range from someone who got knocked up in junior year of high school to even 40, the age where Bridget irl gave birth to her child Oliver. She was playing either her age or slightly younger. Laura Dern and Nicole Kidman were consider for the role, both of whom were three years younger than Fonda at the time. What I said was if Bridget Fonda continued acting into middle age she would be doing mother roles.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

you are altering history in saying she looked her age in these movies. she doesn't she looks at least 10 years older than her age in these movies.

fuck you

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

I'm not altering history because what I am doing is simple setting my opinion about her age. At least I am not dipping in fat-shaming as many insecure guys have done this week after the publication of the photos.

Re: worst aging i've ever seen looked old at 32

Wow, I didn’t even realize she was in “A Simple Plan.” I just remembered how annoying Billy Bob Thornton’s retard character was on that movie.

I don’t think Bridget Fonda necessarily looked old in that movie. However, she definitely didn’t look attractive, but I assume that was intentional to make her character look homely.
