But that has nothing to do with Communism and May Day. May Day is International Workers Day and that's why it's celebrated by Communists. But it's also a major holiday in every nation on earth besides the U.S.

But you can't conflate International Workers Day with paganism.

Well I'm saying Communism is the antithesis of paganism. So it's not apposite.

According to Wikipedia there was no connection between the Marxist choice of the day as International Workers Day and the pagan history of May Day.

While it may belong to a tradition of spring festivals, the date was chosen in 1889 for political reasons by the Marxist International Socialist Congress, which met in Paris and established the Second International as a successor to the earlier International Workingmen's Association.

This does sound like you're making a right wing Christian connection between Satanism and Communism, which is ludicrous. Though I know many religious conservatives do that.
