Religion, Faith, and Spirituality : Here's a thought about religion I have for a long time..

Re: Here's a thought about religion I have for a long time..

Infinity is more than just a number which is why it has eluded all attempts to describe it mathematically. You may as well ask what is 5 minus parmesan cheese.

Beware the sound of one hand clapping.

Re: Here's a thought about religion I have for a long time..

That’s because you’re celebrating two different events on the liturgical calendar or the Julian calendar. I’m shocked that you didn’t call us ass kissers for celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Re: Here's a thought about religion I have for a long time..

Religions are money making and mating clubs/schemes.

Part of making a cult, and this is from legit psych studies, is creating terms, technology, and ethics unique to the cult.

If you don't have that, dudes from rival cults with take you money and the women you convinced to mate with your members.

So, in our cult, we wear red hats, we observe the Shnederphase, and we do that on the 14 of June. None of the infidels believe in Shnederphase, and they certainly don't see the 14th and special, and we pity them for that.

So, there's products to sell about Schnederphase, and parties, and special foods, so all the cult members who make that stuff get money. The same with the red hats. Only buy from the good people with the red hats!

Women will get pumped up about the special events. They will feel special about Schederphase, get horny on the 14th, and get turned on by a man in a red hat.

That's why these groups do not combine.

Why doesn't Apple combine with Microsoft, it's the same components and computer code?! That because Apple tricked people into thinking it's not and created their own computer cult.

It's the same deal.

Computer cult

Shnederphase? WTF is that? I googled it, and there were no results for that word.

Re: Here's a thought about religion I have for a long time..

It's a made up nonsense word to illustrate how people get conditioned by such words.

Part of a cult is to create nonsense terms like that.

It's Friday so we must "Sit Shiva" and that means nothing. But, people in the cult that uses that term will get panicked about it.

Eating "Kosher" is a form of technology.

Cults will create their own "technical terms" and ways of doing things or technology. That's to create a group that has "special knowledge" outsiders don't. The nonsense terms and ideas make the people in the cult feel special and that sets up prejudice.

Re: Here's a thought about religion I have for a long time..

Okay then.

It should be based on the Jewish passover.

Beware the sound of one hand clapping.

Re: Here's a thought about religion I have for a long time..

Why should celebrate Easter or Christmas and whatever holiday is out there separately?

Every holiday has a different meaning. Why would you celebrate them separately?

It's like we play with this holidays, is not about faith anymore, you know?

Not every holiday is about faith. Different people celebrate different things
and many of them have nothing to do with faith.

Why does it bother you how people choose to celebrate anything?
