The Twilight Zone : Little Girl Lost
Re: Little Girl Lost
You've whetted my appetite to watch the whole danged thing again.
Re: Little Girl Lost
Thank you.
I much appreciated it.
I've been enjoying it so far!

Re: Little Girl Lost
Definitely a big influence on the film Poltergeist.
Yes, this is really me.

Re: Little Girl Lost
Yea, I think it's noticeable.
The twilight has been so ripped off it's quite shameful and it doesn't get all the gross it deserves.
I'm a big fan of Saw and back in the day I remember someone mentioning in the imdb boards a Twilight episode where someone said I wanna play a game just like Saw. I think I saw that episode and it was exactly the same shit!

😺 Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't. 😠 Let's go, Brandon! 🙂 I like cashews!

Re: Little Girl Lost
Considering it was written by the legendary Richard Matheson, I'd expect nothing less. :-)
The worst thing that ever happened to the movies was when some pretentious twit decided they should be art.

Re: Little Girl Lost
Matheson's career spanned over half a century and his output was prodigious, but here's a brief list of some of the movies and TV shows that he wrote either the screenplay or the novel/story on which the screenplay was based - or sometimes both. As to how good he was, I suppose that's subjective, but he's generally considered a master of the genre by most sf/fantasy/horror fans.
The Incredible Shrinking Man (based on the novel The Shrinking Man)
First Anniversary (The Outer Limits Feb. 16, 1996, based on the short story)
I Am Legend (based on the novel. Previously filmed as The Last Man On Earth starring Vincent Price and The Omega Man with Charlton Heston)
Dance of the Dead (Masters of Horror Nov. 11, 2005, based on the short story)
The Enemy Within (Star Trek: TOS Oct. 6, 1966)
Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (The Twilight Zone Oct. 11, 1963)
Stir of Echoes (based on the novel A Stir of Echoes)
The Legend of Hell House (based on the novel Hell House)
The Devil Rides Out (screenplay, based on the novel The Devil Rides Out by Dennis Wheatley)
What Dreams May Come (based on the novel)
That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Re: Little Girl Lost
Im a big fan of Stir but not so much of Dreams though I love Robin Williams. I think it had to do with the fact that the story seemed so convoluted.
