She was 76.Director Edgar Wright, who worked with Nolan last year on his film Last Night in Soho, announced the news in a series of tweets on Twitter."It's my sad duty to report that actress and artist, the magnificent Margaret Nolan has passed away," he tweeted. "She was the middle of Venn diagram of everything cool in the 60's; having appeared with the Beatles, been beyond iconic in Bond and been part of the Carry On cast too.".He added: "She was so funny, sharp and, as you might imagine, full of the most amazing stories. I’m so glad I got to know her. My heart goes out to her family and all that loved her. She will be much missed. 4/4.Nolan was born on Oct. 29, 1943 in Somerset, England, and grew up in London. She got her start as a model before landing roles in TV shows, theater production and films including A Hard Day's Night with the Beatles, Ferry Cross the Mersey with Gerry and the Pacemakers and Marcel Carné's Three Rooms in Manhattan in the early '60s.In Goldfinger, played the role of Dink, Bond's masseuse, opposite Sean Connery, in addition to being painted gold for the iconic title sequence. That led to her being photographed for a "James Bond's Girls" edition of Playboy magazine in 1965.She also appeared in several films in the British Carry On series.She took a break from acting in the mid-'80s before returning for a role in the 2011 British film The Power of Three. Wright's Last Night in Soho is scheduled for a 2021 release.Nolan was married to actor Tom Kempinski from 1967-72.
