James Bond : The Four most difficult Bond movies to decide on.

The Four most difficult Bond movies to decide on.

When it comes to ranking the Bond movies, I know which ones are definite misses and which ones are diffinite passes.

However, there are four that are right in the middle for me, and difficult to decide on?

You Only Live Twice
The Spy Who Loved Me
Moonraker
Never Say Never Again

How would you rank these four, or do I agree that they can be tough choices, with each having their own pros and cons to weigh?

Re: The Four most difficult Bond movies to decide on.

Moonraker is the best out of those. I would say it is underrated, one of the better Roger Moore Bond movies. You Only Live Twice is the first Bond movie that felt disappointing. The Connery Bonds kept on downhill after that. Never Say Never Again is probably the worst Bond film of all. I don't remember much about The Spy Who Loved Me.

Re: The Four most difficult Bond movies to decide on…

You Only Live Twice = Pass.

The Spy Who Loved Me = Pass.

Moonraker = Inbetween.

Never Say Never Again = Miss, execept for three scenes.

From best to worst:

The Spy Who Loved Me
Moonraker
You Only Live Twice
Never Say Never Again

The Spy Who Loved Me is actually somewhat of a remake of You Only Live Twice, but it's a better movie in almost every respect.

Re: The Four most difficult Bond movies to decide on.

Oh okay, I thought people would be more hard on Moonraker, but for those who think it is better than you only live twice, why is it?

Re: The Four most difficult Bond movies to decide on.

They were all mediocre at best.
