Are you interested in other cultures or mostly your own?

I'm interested in Asians and Blacks etc. to the point I considered learning Japanese and dreaming of having a Japanese family. (I'm not Japanese, though, so might not personally make a Japanese family.)

It's because the Japanese are so popular now and attractive, some things that Whites don't do. I'm not sure, but possibly Europeans are mixed with Chinese from long ago but not with Japanese etc. I like other Asian cultures, too. I guess Japanese are popular for many being White and graceful and cute.

I'm watching a show on organizing people's houses. I did last night, too. Last night it was 2 girls, Caucasian American. Today, it's Japanese. I felt sorta funny about the one last night, like they were all over with their protocols and unique characteristics. I think they were born around 1980, and they had other friends probably somewhere around their age, too.

The world and it's people are mighty interesting to me. No culture in particular, just a general overall interest in everything.

Re: Are you interested in other cultures or mostly your own?

I know, when I see Black people I find it a bit awkward wondering if I wish I were just all Black when I like all cultures. The only thing I might have a problem with if I were Native American indian, which I'm not sure of, is if other Native American indians tried to lessen my Asian heritage.

The Japanese are certainly a superior culture. They adopted Western technology and aspects of pop culture and made it their own, with a unique twist.

They're also a clean people, like ancient Romans and Greeks with a daily bathing aesthetic. In contrast, the Chinese are a rather unclean people.

My professor in university taught that the Japanese have been able to absorb Western ideas like no other because they went through a feudal period like the Europeans. It's no coincidence they allied with the Nazis.

My favorite East Asian cultures:

1) Tibetan
2) Japanese
3) Thai

Re: Are you interested in other cultures or mostly your own?

I know, where would the world be without Japan in it? They seem more modern than China, like I've seen their pop dancing where they are so thin and even rather frail, which is cute.

They seem very clean! Everyone knows from Big Bird in Japan I think that they take off their shoes inside, like I used to growing up.

That's cool Japanese learn Western things.

I did notice the Japanese are very cool but saw the one on the TV show got darker as the series went on and she got some moles. I use sunblock, try to use it every day but especially if I go for a walk when it's sunny.

I know the Nazis employed Jews who even discovered cures for diseases. I don't know what then would be wrong with the other Jews. I saw a show on TV once where a father and his boy, Jews, were in a Nazi camp I think. I didn't see what happened to the dad because I might have left the room briefly and didn't look back. It reminds me of some Italians who like to irritate me and act like they can control me, and I'm 1/2 Asian/Chinese. I found they or at least the dad was Jewish-Italian. Not all Jews are like that. I know the dad was real skinny and irritating as a person, though I felt for him. I just felt itched. I don't know which show this was, maybe this one, but I saw a blonde German woman who was slightly obese but big and hefty and maybe a bit strong, a Nazi dressed up, and she seemed to say her culture was expansive and extensive and it showed and reflected in her image. She just seemed so human, even if she looked a bit obese, like maybe she wasn't really too fat. Like, it was things I could not channel to me but could see. I saw a man like that, too, kinda. Anyway, at the end, I saw the wife meet her son, and that was like seeing the Germans I mentioned, the girl and boy. The woman Jew was so attractive and something I could never be. She seemed superior in that way racially. She was also maybe slightly on the chubby side but this one was very proportional and pretty, and she did kinda look big but smart. So, the woman Jew seemed very intelligent, but the man Jew was just so irritating all the time. I don't know if the woman Jew was Italian but probably not. So, I wonder what problems the Germans had with some Jews. Maybe, overpopulation. That's like China saying you can only have 1 child, which I don't know if they still do. WWI and WWII has gotten me interested in Jews and made me sad it seemed German classical music stopped and clothes started to look ugly. Most people would agree, maybe. I noticed it seems people who are mostly Caucasian are trying to tell Blacks and Asians no and all acting mean to them to discourage them from being where they live, as though they are a problem socially.

Re: Are you interested in other cultures or mostly your own?

Much of the animosity of Germans towards the Jews came from the fact that the Jews were a wealthy minority. For example, I read that in the 1920's, the Jewish woman wore make-up and dressed nice, while the German women were homely. German men wanted Jewish women. Sure, this is not the cause of the Holocaust. But it gives an example of how real people and social interaction affected politics.

Of course Jews had always represented socialism and left wing causes, so they were the natural enemy of German fascists and nationalists.

Interesting and unique. I didn't know the Jews were so clean cut. I wonder if the women usually have straight hair and the young girls course, frizzy hair, or if most Middle Easterners are like this. My hair was straight as a child and wavy when I hit puberty, frizzy shortly after. Except, the top of my hair was limp.

Oh, and your interests in Asia sound very cool! I also saw the Thai I think or Vietnamese and they seem very cool and smart! People from around India and China must be very cool! I think I've met some online a bit.

I do love both Thai and Vietnamese food. I'm not so interested in Vietnamese culture though. Whereas the Thais were very independent, the Vietnamese were a jungle backwater of China and then dominated by the French.

That's good. Sometimes, curry is okay. I like the Pho shops, especially the smoothies but without the Bo Bo's.

I don't know much about the Vietnam War, but my dad was in the Marines at that time, joined himself. Otherwise, yes, Vietnam sounds very exciting, maybe a bit like South China? or Chinese Indonesians?

Interesting how different countries colonize minorities. It seems the Netherlands, France, England, and Spain have colonized Asia and the Islands.

Re: Are you interested in other cultures or mostly your own?

Vietnam was another American invasion which never should have happened. We need to stop meddling in other countries' business. Thousands of American soldiers died over there for nothing. And now the American President stays at a fancy hotel in Hanoi. What was the point?

I don't really like pho. I prefer Vietnamese curry and I love Vietnamese egg rolls. Vietnamese guys are too small and short.

Yea. I don't understand what we did in WWI and WWII because it kills our men.

I got the spring rolls with shrimp a few times and strawberry smoothies without the Bo Bo's.

I've not had Vietnamese curry, that I know of but Thai a few times and even cooked curry this past month. Sometimes, I think it made me throw up, but it's interesting.

The South Asian boys sometimes are slender, too, I think. With that comes with tanned/dark skin.

Oh, wait, I had a Vietnamese friend I carpooled with for music school on Saturdays and her mom made me spring/summer rolls and they were great and I was a health nut then. It's hard to remember now, though, I moved away too.

Re: Are you interested in other cultures or mostly your own?

WWI and WWII were justified because the Germans invaded other countries and had to be stopped. Vietnam was a civil war, they invaded no one, and we had no business getting involved. The point is they had their Communist revolution anyway and the world did not end.

Curry is spicy. I can eat anything. But if it makes you sick, avoid it.

I did make love once to a Vietnamese boy named Duy. He was actually Cambodian though, Khmer.

Re: Are you interested in other cultures or mostly your own?

It seems the Germans were more problematic than the Jews.

I met a girl online from Nepal, by India to the northeast, and she just looked Asian, really smart, heard she was advanced in math. It might have been through some cartoon chat room or something around 2008.

The things that seem to make me throw up are…
- pizza
- spaghetti
- ramen noodles
- pasta
- Vietnamese/thai noodle soup (frozen)
- rice
- tacos

I still eat them, save for the frozen soup. I even got allergic to bananas, even a little made my stomach ache, like I'd have to lie down. I've liked eating them, when I used to be able to eat more, maybe will when I get off these diabetes pills and others.

I bet have a lot of fortitude racially from my dad, seems to always approve of other races, unless it's me or maybe my brother. My mom, she seems like the opposite but happens to be a minority. She did Caucasian things like ballet.
