Science : “In the observable universe”

“In the observable universe”

Does anyone remember what this means, why parts of the universe are apparently not observable?

Re: “In the observable universe”

Technology allows us to see more and more. But there are still objects in space too far to observe. Then there's also physics theories about other dimensions of reality.

Re: “In the observable universe”

So it’s due to technological limitations on our line of sight and not related to the outer limits of the areas where the universe is expanding.

Re: “In the observable universe”

What about the limits on a microscope as well? Who knows what's hiding in an atom? There may be entire universes in there but we just can't see them.

Re: “In the observable universe”

There hasn't been enough time for the light to reach us from those distant parts of the universe.
