So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

You can give the performing freaks money.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

There's one born every minute.

PS Won't get a nickle from me though.

😺 Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't. 🤨 Let's go, Brandon! 🤨 Try that in a small town.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

Their adverts make me want to crush my skull.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

Don't do that. We need you here.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

I wouldn't even have heard of this tik tok nonsense if it wasn't for this site.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

They advertise on mobile games (which are also guilty of money grabbing).

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

I have teenagers and they live on Tik Tok. They send me funny stuff to watch constantly.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

If they are in the United States then you should let them know it will be banned soon so they can make arrangements

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

They changed their country of residence to Canada to try and get around the ban. LOL

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

They might need a VPN too.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

Also Pompeii said the commies get your secret data from TikTok

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

I think the current party in control is just upset that Tik Tokkers are messing with the attendance at certain rallies.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

That could be true and they're mad at China, so they want to block their apps.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

Imagine that. A legal way to scam kids out of their money.

I read that China banned it, didn't they?

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

My kids don’t pay anything so I’m not sure how that part works. I assumed the famous tik tokkers made their money off of being influencers, ie. wearing brands etc in their videos

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

I noticed that the podcast app I use has a feature where you can “gift” podcasters during live shows.

I suspect Nimda will soon join this trend.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

But aren’t we all broke?!

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

Yes but I’m willing to sell my DVD collection if I must.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

Your willingness to sacrifice is an inspiration!

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

That would make a lot of sense, sort of like the influencers on YT make their money (and get their merch), along with patreon. But on YT they're always pushing specific items, like you mentioned, certain brands and items.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

I had a quick try at finding out but the whole thing is a mess. China have censored content in China and it looks like they’re cracking down on the platform in Hong Hong so they don’t approve of Tik Tok even though the West see them as being too closely linked.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

Busking was the same kind of thing.

Street performance or busking is the act of performing in public places for gratuities. In many countries the rewards are generally in the form of money but other gratuities such as food, drink or gifts may be given. Street performance is practiced all over the world and dates back to antiquity.

Re: So Tik Tok is basically a platform for beggars…

But they don’t usually get kids to gift them £50.

I wonder how much these people earn.
