The Walking Dead : Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

Re: Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

They're both oppressed groups. One needs to stick up for the other.

Re: Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

Absolutely. Or at any rate one would think so.

Re: Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

Yes. Almost every female I know is especially sensitive to racism and current events at this time. They are both oppressed groups so I get it.

Most the guys I know secretly talk shit about their wives/gfs behind their backs because every time these issues arise they’re told they’re racist pieces of shit. Funny how most pay the bills but oh well!

Re: Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

If they're racist, they should at least pay the bills!

Re: Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

Bills = Sandwiches on weekdays.

That’s a fair trade!

Re: Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

Not true at all. There are just as many female racists. Women are just more passive aggressive about it.

I didn't read this but I agree with you about the thing that has to do with the other thing. It's all Trump's fault.

Did I nail it?

Re: Is there a gender bias as far as racism is concerned?

From what I’ve noticed, women tend to do a better job at concealing their racism. It probably has something to do with social standards still setting them back a bit.

The other, older explanation, no longer fashionable in Anglo-American academia, is that women are the "kinder" sex, more attuned to nurturing, compassion and sympathy, and are therefore less prone to the aggressive dismissiveness that is characteristic of racist attitudes

On average, women tend to be kinder to one’s face, but a lot of them can play the same social games that men do in a passive-aggressive manner. They are more attuned to being compassionate and sympathetic though, based off of how their brains are wired.

I believe that women have had to become more assertive to fight for equal rights, throughout history.
