This is quite interesting. Idlewild for me are the 🐐 Scottish band. They sound bitter here, but they’re saying they were on the same level as Coldplay, but they stuck to the music they believed in. Coldplay have gone on to be mega stars, but all their music’s shit.
Would you rather be Idlewild, making music you believe in but earning squaddle - or Coldplay earning crazy money for terrible music? Interesting conundrum.
