yeah it's alarming. we havent had temperatures below zero for one day here in flatlands of Germany this winter, no snow nothing, i think for the first itme? maybe never again like, this cant be good.

I've noticed something here and I'm not sure what starts the cycle. Heavy snow winter usually equals a good sunny summer. A wet miserable winter equals a rainy summer.

I find it extremely difficult to motivate myself working on Friday afternoons from home, so I’ve spent most of the time listening to tunes.
What do you make of the post Joy Division stuff? I quite like New Order’s original stuff where they were basically emulating the Joy Division sound. Then when they went new wave…eh not for me. Blue Monday is a banger tho.
Also, I saw Peter Hook and the Light at an Edinburgh festival a couple of summers ago and they were very good.

I’ve never really listened to Frank Turner much. I think I saw him years ago covering some band or another - can’t really remember.
This tune is awesome, starts off slow and depressing as fuck then bursts into an upbeat punk tune.

This is one of my favourites…sadly the guest co-vocalist Kim Shattuck, who was also the lead singer of The Muffs, died recently.

They're pretty wild though. They put cellos through distortion pedals so sometimes they sound like klezmer metal. I don't think they're like GB. Their name is Finnish for "Hammers of the Underworld".

They're a crazy band. That's a traditional Bulgarian folk tune that they just dk at breakneck speed with a grind accordion solo. They also do Eurovision tunes but in a balkan style. They're so much fun.
