I love those kinds of movies and YAAAAA the soundtracks! Just listened to Shaft's soundtrack again last night on vinyl. Soooooo fucking good.

I had never heard of him until I was in a record store just browsing records, and someone working there put on Armchair Apocrypha. Bought it on the spot.

That's perfectly understandable lol. I think i first heard him in the recommended section of itunes and i immediately bought a bunch of his songs. I kind of miss itunes now -but not as much as record stores. Damn quarantine

There's Spotify now, which is very reasonable. It doesn't have absolutely everything or everything by a certain artist but its selection is still pretty huge.

That's true! I was really surprised by how much i liked they're recommended stuff. YouTube is really great too for recommended, I'm always finding stuff on there
I only miss itunes for making mixed cds…which makes me sound very old lol

Ah but you can make a playlist on Spotify and people can follow it or you can share it. You can even make it interactive if you want.
The only thing that bugs me about it is occasionally a whole album will be available except for one song. It doesn't happen often though but if it's an album I know, it annoys me. First world problems, though.

I'm in two of those and the one with my sister is really fun. I have one with a friend group I'm not that close with and it's horrifying. This one girl added three covers of the Smiths' how soon is now and didn't know the original 
you can make playlists on youtube too. I don't think they're interactive though.
Lol it's still a valid problem! I haven't run into that yet but that would annoy me too. A lot of people don't seem to care about listening to whole albums now and that's a shame
