Food and Drink : Are you cooking more at home, ordering take out, or delivery more?

Are you cooking more at home, ordering take out, or delivery more?

I was reading an article trying to break down how people are handling the pandemic differently. Some are using this opportunity for more homemade meals with their family and others are relying on delivery options and take out to help keep their local business in operation given this is the only way they're going to stay in business.

Is anyone using curbside pickup for their groceries to avoid going into crowded grocery stores at this time?

I've been cooking at home more, and have been doing my own grocery shopping whilst masked and gloved. I pick up groceries my elderly family members have ordered, though, and drop those off at their respective houses.

I love you and everyone else who has a generous heart to take care of their elderly family members. I worry about them so much, especially when they have no one to take care of them, no one to shop for them, even so much as to bring groceries into their home if they're self-reliant.

I saw an article in my newsfeed about a 7 year-old who was taking it upon himself to do basic shopping for the elderly members on his street and delivering basic goods to them so they wouldn't be without. He was picking up the essentials for them (the things most likely to run out, such as TP and paper towel and simple canned goods, water, disinfectant, etc.).

His mama raised a good son.

What a good kid! His mother ought to be beaming with pride. Kids don't often grasp the severity of situations like these; it's wonderful to see them stepping up to help. His mama needs to watch out for him too, though…kids his age are pretty at-risk, too.

This has already been gone over and apparently most people are cooking at home.

I'm still getting takeout and whatnot. I've been going in public exposing myself to possible death every day and i'm fine.

Life is the same, I shop and cook.
