Economics, Business, Money, Finance : Having money is so much better than not having it.

Having money is so much better than not having it.

I used to have shitty apartments. One didn't even have a pool. One was particularly shitty, in the ghetto. And if I went to a concert or sports game in an arena, I'd get the cheapest seats at the top. I didn't mind at all, seating wasn't important to me, as long as I was there.

And now…I have all these luxuries that people don't. And I try not to take it for granted. I can come home from work at 9 PM and hop in my hot tub or pool right away. It eases my muscles. I'm in the process of having a steam room built in my basement, which is right next to the water heater and pipes, so it shall be easy. I used to have full access to a luxurious spa so I've gotten accustomed to having a Sauna, steam room, and indoor and outdoor pool. I'm fine with just the steam room though lol.

I have my own music room with acoustic walls. I have a drum set, 5 guitars, a banjo, and a keyboard. One day I want to save for one of those nice expensive pianos. They're thousands of dollars though. It doubles as a little gym too.

I have a bidet now. It was hand crafted in Italy. I'm so used to that, I can't go back. If I have to shit somewhere other than home, it's an annoyance and inconvenience. I'm like: "Dammit, I have to actually wipe my ass this time. UGH!!"

My shower head is directly above me on the ceiling, and not attached to the vertical wall like most peoples' are, so when I shower, the water falls straight down on me, And it has marble floors and dim lighting. Love it.

I used to have shitty cars that broke down on me all of time. I had a friggin lemon that I had to top off with oil ever 3 days. And the antifreeze would leak, and I'd have to pull over, and refill it, sometimes going to the gas station to get a bottle of water to put in there to make it home. Then, spark plugs would go haywire. I'd have to drive with the heat on during the summer to keep it from overheating. Now I drive a brand new luxury car with all the windows tinted and custom made rims.

I was at a hockey game Sunday (with a former actress btw), and I had front row seats, and the seats were comfortable, with leg room, great access to getting up to go to the gift shops and get beer at my convenience, without making others get up every time. And I could see the players faces so clearly. And I remember thinking how I could never go back to the shitty top seats with no leg room and obnoxious fans. It's fine when you're young, but after a certain point in your life, you want to retire all that, and splurge for better versions of the things you love.

They're just people with a job like you and me broskie. They don't even make that much money tbh, except the super famous one like Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis.

The banjo player in Deliverance is working as a janitor at a Walmart Supercenter. He only saw $500 from that movie. Yet that scene is iconic in pop culture.

Geoffrey Whats-his-face was working at a Trader Joe's. You actually make more money annually than a star from the Cosby Show!

Actors don't get residuals from reruns and box office totals like the writers/creators do, unless it's in their contract. They have no ownership rights to whatever platform they're acting in.

People with supporting roles on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel shows make like…$1000 or less an episode. When that ends, their money ends. Sometimes they can make a career like Demi Lavato who does other things, but the person playing her friend is poor again.

Actually no one believes you but some of us (not me) read your little fantazy stories for the entertainment value. If you write one about taking glass blowing or flying lessons I'll read those tho.

If you want to call a notorious liar, go for Gameboy. Guy has a weird agenda with certain things, like defending certain users, for whatever reason, and he'll lie to keep the narrative he wants. He's done it so many times in the past. I'm not sure how it is in any way benefitting him to do that. It's gotten to the point where no one respects his input anymore.
