I agree. This movie was VERY unrealistic. Who the hell would believe that white girl would just be that brave and stand up to her husbands murderer, turn into a sharpshooter almost overnight, and lead the entire damn town including former soldiers in the civil war. It was the typical hollywood tripe of white girl gumption gone wild; where she can out class all others simply because she was wronged, and dagburnit! y'all best git out of Missy-Annes way! Totally unbelievable in every way. She would be cowering in a corner somewhere. Everything else in the movie however, was perfect.

I have to jump back in here.

My wife has two artificial hips which she got replaced at about age 32 due to congenital hip dysplasia. Back before she had them replaced, she was a wild-land firefighter, crew lead on a Minnesota DNR team, and mother of my children. She had to pass the pack-test in incredible pain and then work in the woods for sometimes up to 14 hour days. Many healthy strapping young men failed the pack test, but she was able to pass it.

She also was a timber cruiser for 2 years or so. Walking in knee deep snow through black spruce bogs as well as pure muskeg. Chaining out for miles. If she had to use the restroom, she used a tree or nothing at all. If she could find what is called loggers toilet paper, she'd use that. Otherwise, it would be a pad from her pack.

She's now a research chemist for over a decade. She hauls chemicals that would terrify the sh*t out of me. They come in 5 gallon containers and are hard to carry but manageable. She's more knowledgeable about both hot-shot firefighting and the production of human growth factors than anyone I know.

Plus, she can shoot a gun.

If you tried to stand up to her and try to harm her, she would not back down. Never. Never. She would die first and she would do exactly what the character did if some *beep* killed me. She's 100% hardcore frontier bad ass.

Plus, she's ticklish and nice to cuddle with. I run hot, she runs cold. We make a great pair.

Remember, when someone is a law officer carrying a gun, they are always called "Sir".

I'm sorry that black people make you nervous. It must be hard to go about your daily life identifying people by race instead of their character.

Once again, you'll be OK. You're OK. I'm OK. Say it to yourself, "I'm OK"

It's not necessary to the plot line to ensure that people get called a racial name. Again, the character is based around a well known Marshal, Bass Reeves. He was respected.

If you need to call him a negro, that's OK. I don't mind. You see several scenes in the movie where there is muttering in the background about "what is HE doing here?" etc.

Let's end this: "It's an F'n movie!" I do not understand why all the discussion is about it being too multicultural. It makes no sense. I cannot understand the hate and vitriol about this movie. It's just a movie and I really enjoyed it.

You're still OK. I'm sure that if we met, we'd be good friends. It's all good. I like seeing the pretty flickering colors on the screen that keep the demons out for maybe just a few hours. That's enough for me.

To reply to my own comment:

I just found out that my congressman has an office right by me. I introduced myself to his aid and the aid of his aid. We spoke for about 45 minutes between both visits.

I disagree with everything the Congressman has to say (I'm OK with his immigration policy) but everything else I do not agree on.

But, if I needed his aid to join a ragtag crew, I guarantee I could get him to join me.

I do not know his race. He's a bit off-white but so am I.

What this movie lacks is a homosexual and a Jewish .

Native Americans, freed slaves, Chinese who came over to work on the railroads, and women were common in the west. Sounds like some of you guys need to leave Breitbart and the Fox News comments section for a moment and crack a history book. The old west wasn't just white dudes.
