I’m sorry to hear that cancer took people out of both of your lives, and I’m sorry for your losses. Depending on when things like this get detected, thankfully it’s possible to battle your way through a hard-fought battle for recovery when cancer compromises our immune systems. These things not only take our souls away, as much as they take a huge toll on our loved ones around us. I’ve lost close members of my family from Parkinson’s Disease, too.

All of this has taught me to not only keep up with my own health, but to help others who are undergoing severe health issue as well.

Yes, at this point, there's no simple, foolproof blood test to detect it (PAP doesn't detect it), sooooo… a yearly pelvic exam is necessary.
