Girl Meets World : Am I the only one that isn't sad that it's ending?

This show has been a total mess after season one. The story plots became unfocused of a specific theme the writers wanted to bring forward to an episode, the characters including the lead character herself Riley became one dimensional, silly, and obnoxious and the random, unnecessary cameo appearances of characters from BMW made certain aspects of an episode loses it's strength because of how uneven it gets.

No, you're not the only one who's not sad the show is ending. Plenty of poster on this board feel the same way, including myself.

I think the only reason the shows ending is sad because it ended too soon not because how great the show was.

Girl Meets World started with a lot of promise. It was refreshing to see how close Riley and her family were, the loyalty of Riley and Maya to each other, and seeing their whole friend group interact and evolve. One of the early signs of the shows troubles though was the romantic aspect. The show never managed to get that right except maybe Farkle and Smackle. Another big problem was the comedy, tonal shifts, and inconsistent or repetitive writing. In season two the issues were more pronounced and by the end of that season I was done with the show.

Aside from that, the main reason I'm not sad is it had a decent sized run. Now if this was a show based on a book and we knew the next seasons had some amazing content in store for us that could be a different story.

It should be sad but the ungrateful fandom killed the goodwill the show deserves themselves. Hence the birth of the Crotch Rocket

And as glorious a God-given gift that I am I really mean it. If all you GMW fans were replaced with the Jessie or Liv and Maddie fanbase we'd be seeing Season 4. Instead you guys couldn't shut up with MUH NOSTALGIA and MUH CORPANGA instead of just being grateful for the show you have.
