NBA: Free Agency

Do the Sixers re-sign Butler, Harris and JJ?

🍻

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Enough with the charade Pop, you do not even watch the NBA.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

interesting.

so who's your team?

Re: NBA: Free Agency

per Woj:

Celts are the front runners for Kemba

the plot thickens folks…..

Re: NBA: Free Agency

lakers now with $32 mil in cap room

going after:

1. kawhi
2. kyrie
3. butler

fascinating stuff folks

Re: NBA: Free Agency

i am starting to believe they can land kawhi

wouldn't that be something

Re: NBA: Free Agency

rumors swirling the Sixers won't be offering both Harris and Butler the 'max'

Re: NBA: Free Agency

I think Butler goes To Houston. Kyrie to Brooklyn.Durant resigns with the Warriors and Kawhi goes to LA. Kemba goes to Boston. Knicks sign Deangelo Russell.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

interesting.

interesting indeed.

Butler can't go to Houston unless they do a sign and trade.

Rumor has it they're trying to shop Capela, Tucker, Gordon for 1st Round Picks to sweeten a deal for Philly. Unless it's like 2 very high firsts - I don't see why Philly does this.

They're better off just letting him walk - and spending that cash on their targeted F.A.s rounding out their team - i.e. the Danny Greens, Terrence Rosses, Malcolm Brogdon's, re-signing JJ and Tobias of the world (rumor has it they haven't offered him the max and are low balling him)

The D'Lo situation intrigues me. If Kyrie goes there - and Butler or Harris bolt here - I'd love to have him to run next to Simmons

Re: NBA: Free Agency

stephen a. smith reporting kyrie and KD to the nets is a done deal

Re: NBA: Free Agency

I just read on Hoopshype that KD would NOT sign with them, but an unknown source.

I think Kahwi stays with the Raptors, or goes to the Clippers. Jimmy Butler going to Houston might help. I can't believe Orlando was said to be given a HUGE 5-yr offer to Vucevic for over 90 million (which isn't much for an all-star who average 20 and 12). Kemba will probably go to the Celtics, who definitely fits better than the overrated Kyrie (not as overrated as Harden).

Re: NBA: Free Agency

they're giving Vuc 5 years and 90 mil?

dude - he's an old school Sixxer.

actually miss him here and would love to see him backing up Embiid.

wtf is Orlando doing.

just saw the GM came out and said he had no idea when Fultzy would return

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Kawhi to the Lakers. We back baby.

KD & Kyrie to the Nets.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

i'd love this.

kd is going to be toast anyway - Kyrie is no 'Alpha' as he's shown - and him signing with Brooklyn means D'Lo bolts.

2 horse race in the East - Bucks and Sixers - Bucks need to re-sign Middleton and Brogdon

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Re: NBA: Free Agency

oh yeah….

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Oh fuck yes!

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Re: NBA: Free Agency

brian whindhorst (however you spell it)

states sixers may be gunning for Al Horford

I like it if butler and harris don't come back - especially if harris doesn't come back as we need a replacement at the #4

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Smart.

"Once More, Ackbar Will Rule the Galaxy, and… We Shall Have Peace."

Re: NBA: Free Agency

call me crazy

but I like to see both Butler and Harris walk

then they re-sign JJ as the 6th man.

round out there team around their generational superstars Simmons & Embiid with the likes of Terrence ross, danny green, Malcolm brogdon and al horford

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Darthy Baby,

Is there any possible way you can relay to Tom_Rocks - I've made my final pick - he'll know what I'm talking about.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

lol of course i will

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Durant, Kyrie and DeAndre Jordan to the Nets according to Woj

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Now it’s up to Kawhi…..hope he makes his decision soon so the lakers can pursue other free agents.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

middleton and lopez re-up with the Bucks

wonder if they can still fit in Brogdon

rumor has it the Sixers have their eyes on him.

according to David Aldridge - Tobias Harris meeting with the Sixers at 6pm

would love the following - re-sign Harris, re-sign JJ, sign Brogdon, Danny Green

give Butler the max in turn swapping him to Miami for Bam, Winslow and Richardson.

bench problems and depth fixed.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

jj redick leaves sixers for the pels

i'm sick to my stomach

Re: NBA: Free Agency

thad young to the bulls

damn

would have been a nice option at the '3/4'

d rose goes to the Pistons….

Re: NBA: Free Agency

tobias and mike scott back - makes me feel a little better with the rumors of Butler out the door

need shooter to replace JJ

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Butler will go to Miami… I'm very interested where the rest of the pieces fall in this musical chairs. Especially when one teams puts all their eggs in one or two baskets, and then those are taken, and the 2nd tier guys aren't going to wait, and already have destinations in mind.

Very rare that 40% of players are free agents.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

wonder what the return is for the Sixers

gimme Bam, J-Rich, Winslow

then go after Danny Green and Pat Bev

(rumors floating around of Horford too)

will make for a strong 2nd unit when it was junk last year

Re: NBA: Free Agency

nba: the jump

they're doing a special now on Free Agency - they just reported the Heat would like to pair Butler with Bradley Beal.

going to be some crazy swaps coming up.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

just been confirmed

butler to heat - return hasn't been announced yet

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Josh Richardson

Re: NBA: Free Agency

agreed!

Re: NBA: Free Agency

sweetness.

was getting worried because Dallas balked after the initial deal of first Goran and then Kelly O.

Miami sent Whiteside to the Blazers to clear space.

j-rich is younger than Butler and a decent 3&D wing.

I love this move.

jimmy is an Alpha - but he's never going win crap being the #1 guy which is what he wants to be.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

horford on Sixers

damn.

Elton Brand wheelin' and dealin' now

Re: NBA: Free Agency

Knicks are going to stink, good. If the Lakers get Kahwi, they'll win the title. When is he going to make his decision? Part of me wants him to stay in Toronto, but then again, it would be fun watching Lebron-Kahwi-Davis, and I'm not a Lakers fan.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

i have a feeling he has already decided on LAL, and is just waiting to have an entire news day "all to himself"

"Once More, Ackbar Will Rule the Galaxy, and… We Shall Have Peace."

Re: NBA: Free Agency

i'm not so sure about this.

Bron is getting older - and his groin injury put him on the shelf last year

AD is a China Doll.

so it would be LeBron, AD and Kawhi

who else? ok kuzma

it'll be great theater next year.

i'm betting they crash and burn.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

AD missed a lot of games because NO didn't want getting more hurt, and disabling a chance to get good players back. But he is a bitch for demanding a trade. Top 5 player, but he has no heart, and no balls.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

completely agree. (albeit he's always had nagging injuries and seems like a p*ss)

It's going to be a soap opera next year.

new orleans has a very intriguing team - rooting for them from afar since JJ and Oak are on there

Re: NBA: Free Agency

David Griffin is great. I also liked him very much when he worked for NBA TV. Very sensible, and isn't a bullshitter like many others. They have a very good team to grow from. Depending on how much Gayle will spend, they can grow from within like GS, and they have the right players in place; they just need experience and patience. They should get another veteran presence.

Do you think they'll make the playoffs? I think they'll come close.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

I loved the redick and favors signings.

love Jrue as a vet PG.

want to see Oak elevate his game at 'c' since he's the starting 5'

Griffin has done everything possible to take the pressure off of Zion.

i'd love to see them sneak into the playoffs next year - can completely see it as an 8th seed.

great story to watch. screw the likes of AD and CP3 for wanting to get out of there.

The Hawks officially signed undrafted forward Charlie Brown to a two-way contract, according to another team press release.

Brown’s agreement with the Hawks was reported shortly after the draft.

Re: NBA: Free Agency

I turned on to NBA TV and the first thing I heard was, "Amazing how more females are out there" — what the fuck? I'm here to watch basketball, not give out tokens, patting each other the back to get a female audience. This is all business, and people are suckers.
