Health & Fitness : Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Agreed. Erica is a hot mess…

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

A hot mess you love to talk about . And that’s all that matters .

Which of my posts struck you as serious?

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Read above. Sounds like you took an obviously facetious remark to heart. Had I known you were so sensitive I'd have made effort to not enrage you so thoroughly.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

LOL @ "why so serious?" Haha. That was a good one! Clever girl.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

I think making that movie took him to a very dark place. He isolated himself a lot during the filming too. He was a great actor, and I miss him too.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Imagine being offended by things as innocuous as gifs and colored fonts.

Try all of the above in a single post.

Feed your cats and shut up . Nobody cares about you trying to tell people how to post or governing emoji use.

You have me confused with someone who’s clearly upset you.

Do not.

I think it’s a she. And a very bitter and rejected person trying to take out their misery on people who seem happier.

Could I bother you to show me where I backtracked? Thanks in advance.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Breathe slowly. I asked you to show me where I backtracked, not to reiterate the charge. I gather you saw a little too much of yourself in what I described, but you don't have to take your frustration out on the English language. Remember: you're choosing to be offended.

Glad you’ve finally calmed down and are ready to consider a rational discussion.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

This entire conversation is predicated on your concern over what I think. But name value, yes. Let’s set aside the hysterics and talk clout now, because it all matters so little to you.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Let’s set aside the hysterics and talk clout now
Lol, you wrote clout instead of clowns.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

no name nobody

She wanted to discuss clout.

Street cred. Name value. Not clowns.

Nice name.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Cheers is a man. Erica, for whatever reason, just likes to accuse everyone using big words of being me. She'll pop up soon enough saying something about feeding cats.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

How badly do you want me to be Bumby?

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

They're psychopaths. Encyclopedic rants and dissertations. Godawful gifs conveying nothing. Screenshots & copy/paste. Bold, italic, and colored fonts. Dozens of emojis per post.

I saw what you did there. I tried not to call attention to it with a reply but I guess others can read between the lines.

Btw, I agree with you.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Truth be told I think you’re the only one that got it.

Oh please, Erica.
Save your sarcasm. You won't be winning any points with Bongo.

I was the only fangirl Bongo needed all these years. You and all your homegirls can never replace what I represented to him.

It isn't a discussion about rocket science where it calls for in depth analysis.

Then why make it one?

Don't watch All Hallows' Eve.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

I've always disliked them since I saw them at the circus when I was a little girl. I find their kind of 'funnyness' most un-funny. It's absolutely boring and cringe producing.

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

They're going to annoy you to death, NZer…..

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

But those are dancing! Not throwing water over each other and hitting themselves on the head with a variety of objects.

I like those clowns!

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Clowns often have face-paints that often look like demented horror movie masks, with their β€œstratagem” being to perform an Inverted Pyramid to turn you as red as their nose, or to exterminate someone into death bed. While these Diabolic looking creatures could be entertaining for a trick or two, I think that most will not be able to withstand their phobia by having this guy clown on you for long:

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Huh?

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

Did we ever figure this out?

Re: Why are some people afraid of clowns?

We should all discuss this on the clown board. My fear doesn't affect my health.
