Who here trains legs?

Which is more effective on the lower back, quads and hamstring?

Stiff leg lift - Dumbbells

or

Goodmornings - Barbell

Both have forward bending of the torso and you stop once you feel tensision in legs and back, then you go back to starting position and back again.

Which one would you do, both or 1 of them?

First, never, ever start with any of those lifts unless you're an experienced lifter.

You need to build up your base strength using a leg press machine first.

Good Mornings are dangerous.

Deadlifts of all sorts are one of the primary moves.

But no, don't start off with any of these unless you've been lifting for a while.

Dont have a GM, doing them at home.

Im doing the good mornings carefully with light weights, i would never squat with weights as im not confident.

Lay off the good mornings.

If you're lifting at home with dumbbells do sumo squats or Romanian deadlifts.

Romanian deadlifts! There had to be a way to have a laugh at CROFTs expense with that one ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

This exercise gets performed incorrectly so often, and people blow their backs out.
