Music General : Men, if you were to sing "…Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston in her key

Men, if you were to sing "…Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston in her key

at what point in the song could your voice go no further? Would you make it to the chorus?

Remember, as high as Houston sang it. You can't lower it.

Are you supposed to be Georgian from the U.S. or Georgian from the Caucasus Mountains?

I wouldn't try to sing Whitney's rendition

It's a Dolly Parton song that Kevin Costner gave to Whitney to sing in The Bodyguard

She never heard Dolly's version of it - Costner played her Linda Ronstadt's cover -

Elvis Presley originally wanted to record it but he wanted exclusive rights to the song, and Dolly turned him down.

I'd probably try to sing it like Vince Gill did

Dolly sings it with REAL feeling.

It would crack if I tried the first note at her octave level.
