Fallen : Time between creation and release?

Does anyone know when this film was originally made?

I heard 2013-2014 .

If that's the case are we talking a release date two years after wrapping. If it gets released in 2016 from what I have heard.


That does not bode well for the film, or any potential sequels.

Also out of curiosity anybody know why the delay?

In a fair universe, we would all be better people.

I think they've been delaying because they know it's going to bomb. Perhaps, they also were attempting to put some distance between its release and releases of more recent, previous paranormal YA romance adaptations that also bombed in the past three or so years, like Beautiful Creatures, Vampire Academy, and the end of the Twilight Saga.
