Caleb McLaughlin : So annoying on Stranger Things

Geez this kid is so annoying on Stranger Things. Like every time he speaks I feel like slapping him. Why do you guys think that is? I know every show needs a character that has to challenge everybody's way of thinking but come on you stupid child, get with the program!!!!

he had a lot of redeeming qualities.

Because that's his character, as in every 80's kid's gang there's an annoying little brat.
It's just unfortunate that it's also the only black character.
It used to be the fat one

Actually he was the realist.
One was easy to trust, the other going along for the ride. He was the sensible one who figured eleven out and watched out for the others.
A killjoy yes, but one who only wanted to watch out for his friends

The annoying one was the kid without front teeth. Couldn't understand him half the time and he looked like a 90 year man trying to eat prunes when he talked.

I gotta disagree. The toothless kid (Dustin) in my opinion was the coolest kid out of the crew. He was always doing what was best for his crew and was willing to believe in the supernatural without hesitation.

I really hope you do not ever have children and or are ever permitted to be alone with anyone else's children.

Great response to the discussion! I obviously must hate all children right? I was specifically talking about this kids character and not the kid himself. He was always the one disagreeing with everybody and it got annoying and I would have felt the same had he been an adult. I will admit thought, I ended up liking his character in episod5b4e 7 and 8 at which point he finally put all his disagreements aside and did what was best for his friends. And why can't I be alone with children? What is it that you're afraid I might end up doing?

I have a hard time with him, but in the last episodes Dustin explained his behavior very well. He was jealous, afraid, ha had just lost one of his best friends. I think that he was pretty rational sometimes. Mike just thought that everything was so easy. He was protective of his only friends. At the very end I really started to like him a lot.

I will agree with you on that. I started to like his character in episode 7 and 8. By then, he started to come around in a positive way.
