Westworld : Ford wasn't killed. It was his double created in the cellar (SPOILERS)

There's a lot of foreshadowing in this series, especially in the dreams. One dream that Bernard (Arnold) has towards the end of Season 1, shows Teresa (who's been supposedly killed already) slide into bed next to him and then freeze up right when she's saying something. It's a flashback from when they had a fling but it's also significant because it's a huge clue to the finale of Season 1. More administrative people had already been replaced by androids, not just Bernard.

Now go back to the scene where Bernard and Teresa got to the house built by Ford in the uncharted zone. They go into the cellar beneath and find the android in the glass being slowly constructed in the way early models were made. That's right before Ford shows up, reveals Bernard to be an android and has him kill Teresa. The android being made was a duplicate of Ford. Everything that has happened has been manipulated by Ford. He wants to create a new world order in the park for his creations. He wouldn't put himself in the position of dying by the same hands that Arnold did but he would fake his death. That would give him freedom to run the park without interference from outside, because to all present, he's dead.

That's this viewers take on events.

Okay then, if I'm way off the mark, illuminate me. I'm not following how the writers disproved my theory but it's very possible I missed something.

that wasn't bernard's dream that was a memory. he was going back and rewriting them.

That isn't something I had considered but it's very plausible, especially in light of his self-awareness that he's an android.
There's so much going on in this story that it's hard to keep up. Storylines blur and you start having difficulty keeping up with what's real and what's in someone's mind; what happened in the past and what's happening now.

Tbh I was thinking (if Anthony Hopkins was coming back) he may have allowed himself to die and created his clone to live on.

I dunno it's more of a twist then Ford faking his death plus it cements the whole new world order he wants to create PLUS he probably could have designed himself so he couldn't be hacked and he won't age cos he's an android. Idk
