Westworld : Favorite scenes
Re: Favorite scenes
I have a lot of favourite scenes, one of my favourites is the end of The Original, when Dorloes kills the fly, it's a hint of what's to come.
Re: Favorite scenes
The huge doo-doo eating grin on the MIB's face after he gets shot.
That and Dolores's realization of who he is. I think that's what set Wyatt free.

My favourite scene is when Felix finds out that Bernard is a host and starts to question his own humanity. I still laugh when I think about it.

Hector and Armistice using 21st century guns for the first time. I love the culture shock stuff of the hosts discovering the outside world.
I also loved the end scene of Ford giving his speech and Dolores shooting him. The juxtaposition of Debussy's Reverie in the background, Charlotte's slow turn from smug satisfaction to suspicion, the way the host wait staff just stands there stoically as the human guests run for their lives. It's beautiful.

1. Dolores waking up and seeing Arnold. Not only do we get our first likeable human character in Arnold and our first emotionally moving moment but it is the first time a fictional moment in any medium really captures how it feels to have your first memories, to realize that you exist. The way it kinda starts and we don't know why.
2. Dolores dying on Teddy by the beach. At first it's really powerful, than it becomes over the top and melodramatic but still moving and than the camera reveals that it was all a show.
3. I'm torn between Maeve discovering that she has a collection of the same drawing/Maeve becoming the narrator if her own story. But the second one pissed me off because there wasn't enough of it. C'mon, it's like Jean Grey becoming Phoenix for 2 pages in the comics. So I have to go with Maeve discovering the drawing.

Favorite scenes
1. Ford and Theresa talking outside at the Mexican restaurant where he warns her to stay away.
2. Ford and Theresa at Fords underground office. It's just pure Hopkins goodness and her slightly slow way of acting works so well.
3. Mr Abernathy in the glass room being questioned by Ford and Bernard. You really start to realize what Abernathy and the others are going through.
