Ford made him shoot himself in the head, yes? But didn't question for a moment how he suddenly came back for the presentation of his "final act".

A little off topic but something to be noted, these doctors involved in Maeve's storyline would soooooo be caught, they've been walking her up and down hallways and editing hers and other hosts programming for the whole second half of the season, how is that?

Also, if anyone would like to comment on SW, as well as Maeve breaking her escape code by
getting off the train then everything shutting down, that would awesome. (Why would she get off the train?!? Is she expected to cruise right on into the park after ALL that just went down on her way out?!) oh and when that doctor sees she never left(if he is somehow still employeed), he is gonna absolutely lose it.

Lastly, I do love the show, and am not calling out any "plot holes", maybe I just missed an explanation somewhere.

she got off the train because she wanted her child. she made her first "real" decision by going against the narrative that was written for her to escape the park. at least that's what i thought was being inferred.

how are you sure that her "deciding" to get off the train and find her child, isn't exactly the narrative that is written for her.?

she was being manipulated by someone using Arnold's password, most likely Ford. If Ford's plan is to destroy the park, he needs to destroy the other parks as well, and one of them is where Maeve's daughter is located.

judging by some of those foreshadowing scenes, i'm sure the next season will take place in SamuraiWorld or RomeWorld or whichever of the other parks.

Ford knows everything what the hosts are doing. He has backdoor access which Bernard coded into them, including himself. He even spoke through some hosts to MiB, to keep him chasing the maze for the final showdown with Dolores. And yea, he knew what Maeve was doing in cold storage with Bernard. So he was not surprised as Bernard came back. And when Dolores saw Bernard, she thought she saw Arnold. And then Ford revealed the truth to Dolores. She had some repressed memoriesnothing surprising there. But Ford could use backdoor acccess and reveal everything to Dolores for her little meltdown.

MiB killing Maeve's child changed everything. Maeve slashed her throat after Ford erased her suffering.Maeve did not want Ford to remove the suffereing, because her pain was the only thing she had left. So the loss of her child, kinda like Bernards, became her new cornerstone.

Maeve knowing she was on a narrative, simply did what she had to do. Break the loop. It had really nothing to do with love for her daughter. She knows shes not real. She knows shes not her mother. Unless she got too much human nature in her to be silly and go back to try change something thats already past

As for the techs involved with Maeveits all part of the plan. Sylvester is a host though. His reaction to getting his throat cut a bit, was very mechanic. You just dont lie down because of a little cut. But remember when MiB slashed Kissys throat? Same reaction. Becomes "disabled".

The whole Maeve waking up and recruiting hosts might be seen as a security measure by Ford, to keep outside help from coming to Westworld, now that theres some chaos going on ^
