Jennifer Lawrence : Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

"The tweet is mightier than the sword." - Donald Trump - who was opposed by Jeff Bezo's The Washington Post (which Trump called a "scam" of course). Jeff Bezo is the owner of Amazon and IMDb. Immediately after taking office Trump has gone after Jeff Bezo just like Hitler shut down the news press that opposed him.

Trump - the Ultimate divide and conquer 'puppet president' for the Illuminati.

To the 250 million users of IMDb...

Say goodbye to your freedom of speech.

Say hello to the new world order.

Google/YouTube are also clamping down hard on free speech - Ghost Banning users without their knowledge (making their comments invisible). They are also automatically sending comments to 'Likely Spam' folders with no option for 'approving' them.

(Google Earth & Pokemon Go were both funded by the CIA)

Most of Donald Trumps speeches are ripped from American History X
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY5gNb4WaSM

American History X: "Are we gonna stand on the side lines, quietly standing there while our country get's raped?"
Trump: "We can no longer allow China to rape our country and that's what they're doing."

Not convinced? Still mesmerised by puppet presidents? Still confused by the illusion of choice? Still brainwashed that you are free?

Holy crap, I just realized that mountsalish died 3 days before she could know Donald Trump won the election. There's no doubt she didn't want him to win.

The Illuminati like to snuff out people who speak out. They try that on me they will die.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

I don't like seeing free speech censored but in the case of IMDb, they needed to shut it down if they weren't going to ever regulate it. You can pretty much destroy a board with a tablet and multiple accounts.

I would much rather see IMDb return with moderators, administrators and IP bans, if it does. Many of us went overboard.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

What's sad is, they could EASILY do what you just suggested. IMDb claims that the message boards to not work with their new user interface though, and that it's a business decision.

Sadly though, the OP is partly onto something. It is a business decision, but IMDb is certainly in favor of shutting down the boards in order to make the site as a whole more favorable with advertisers.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Agree.

I'd say that over 90% of the boards (very rough estimate) are not infested with trollish behavior. This does seem like a business move.

2000
. . . The Bones tell me nothing.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

With all due respect the reason IMDb boards die is because more people are moving to other forms of communication. Twitter.
The IMDb is too outdated. Whereas Twitter is more immediate.
More controversial comments are said on Twitter than IMDb.

How is this thread still up according to your fear of being clamped down.
It's easier to use Twitter or Facebook to make comments than on your cell phone app than.
The IMDb has too many trolls spamming anyone's board they don't like. So it's annoying to even sift through a reasonable thread to discuss what the actor/actress's work.

Then you have the endless annoying ads that slow your page down.

what Jordie?

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

even some of the most controversial boards, like the marvel and dc ones, have trolls but still function.

as i said i came here as a fan a year ago, but the cultists flagged even my most mild criticism.

i would of been happy to let the cultists have their little echo chamber on their threads, to let them post all their stalkerish things in peace.

but they couldnt stand even the slightest criticism

the cultists need to have a long look at themselves, but like trump voters who blame mexicans for their problems, and hilary voters in denial blaming jill stein and bernie, they cant ever take responsibility

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

The IMDb is too outdated. Whereas Twitter is more immediate.
That makes no sense at all.. nobody looks for thoughtful and long conversations about a movie on Twitter.. and just as you said it's too immediate, in a site like Imdb you have the information organized in a list and per subject where people can look it up even decades after the movie has been released.. in Twitter that's just impossible to do, you would find yourself going through thousands of irrelevant rambling until you could find anything even remotely important.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

so where is there proof that threads are being shut down according to the OP.

Maybe this site is suitable for you but it's annoying when you have a board all spammed out by trolls who are not even talking about a film but just trolling the actors.

what Jordie?

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

The proof has been recorded by me. I've made numerous films about the closing of these boards and one day the edited finished story will be on YouTube - unless Adolf Trump shuts down YouTube next. Wouldn't surprise me.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Or maybe it is just that the IMDb administrators are just sick and tired of dealing with trolls like yourself, Montanabananas.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Exactly. Nothing like another conspiracy theory nutcase thinking the government had something to do with a business decision that completely makes sense on its own merits. The IMDB is infested with trolls who have no interest in discussing movies.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

The IMDB is infested with trolls who have no interest in discussing movies.
Which includes you, hence why you are peddling for a board that supposedly you've been on for over half a year.

You're not interested in discussing movies or facts at all, all you want to do is spread hate and misinformation around.

Otherwise you'd have no concerns discussing the domestic box office disappointment that Passengers was, with only $97.9M at the box office on a $110M production budget.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

As usual, you lie, since telling the truth causes you pain.

It's real box office is $293 million and its run isn't even finished, drooling moron, making it the biggest box office draw for an original film in 2016. Choke on it.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

t's real box office is $293 million and its run isn't even finished
It's GLOBAL Box Office is $293, the DOMESTIC BOX OFFICE (as stated) is not even at $98M.

It's really sad that you have to lie and twist FACTS around to support your baseless claim.

making it the biggest box office draw for an original film in 2016.
MORE LIES. Zootopia's Domestic Box Office total was $331M, significantly higher than Passenger's Global take. Zootopia's Global take was $1,024M.

How embarrassing to make up lies in a poor attempt to bolster support for a film that was NOT the biggest original film of 2016, nor was it a box office success.

As always, FACTS have PROVEN YOU WRONG.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

It's GLOBAL Box Office is $293, the DOMESTIC BOX OFFICE (as stated) is not even at $98M.

Irrelevant, manure for brains. You don't get to cherry pick your facts to support your delusions. The whole bucket of box office is what counts.

MORE LIES. Zootopia's Domestic Box Office total was $331M, significantly higher than Passenger's Global take. Zootopia's Global take was $1,024M.

Sorry, I screwed up. Even though you screw up and knowingly lie every day, you'd never be mature enough to admit it. I am. That's the difference between us: you are a worthless troll, and I'm an honest broker.

I needed to add "live action" as a qualifier. Passengers was the biggest original live action film of 2016. This is especially remarkable when you consider the bad reviews, bad marketing, and stupid decision to open up against Star Wars in only its second week. This speaks volumes for the star power of Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Irrelevant, manure for brains.
Don't get upset that you didn't read. Interesting how when I add in a qual 1ebc ifier, it does not count... but you are allowed to add them in? Seems just a wee bit hypocritical there doesn't it Mr. "Honest Broker"?

Central Intelligence, Bad Moms and Arrival ALL beat Passengers Domestically.

I needed to add "live action" as a qualifier. Passengers was the biggest original live action film of 2016.
Still more lies... "La La Land" was the biggest original live action film of 2016 globally.

As ALWAYS, the FACTS have PROVEN YOU WRONG.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Interesting how when I add in a qualifier, it does not count... but you are allowed to add them in?

Your qualifiers only exist to distort reality. You focus on domestic because it is the only way to propagate your delusional narrative.

Still more lies... "La La Land" was the biggest original live action film of 2016 globally.

It isn't a lie when I stupidly rely on old information. It is just me screwing up. . .again.

Of course, I can admit this because I'm a mature adult. You, on the other hand, are nothing but a childish, mindless troll whose days trolling here are, delightfully, coming to a close.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Your qualifiers only exist to distort reality.
As do yours.

Would you like to add in "Sci-Fi" to it as a qualifier now? Or movies that starred "Jennifer Lawrence" in 2016?

It isn't a lie when I stupidly rely on old information. It is just me screwing up. . .again.
I accept your apology that the FACTS have proven that "La La Land" is the most successful, original story, live action movie of 2016.

You, on the other hand, are nothing but a childish, mindless troll whose days trolling here are, delightfully, coming to a close.
Well, you were finally looking like an actual adult, but then had to close with ad hominems and personal attacks, taking your credibility away

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

As do yours.

Wrong. You only mention domestic gross because you are interested in distorting the truth and nothing else.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

You only mention domestic gross because you are interested in distorting the truth and nothing else.
Is that why you add in qualifiers like "biggest", "original" "live action" movie of "2016" to make Passengers sound somehow more impressive than it actually is?

There is nothing being distorted by comparing the Domestic Box Office to the Domestic Box Office, unless you are comparing the Domestic Box Office to a Foreign Film released in America; in which the American gross is considered "Domestic".

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Is that why you add in qualifiers like "biggest", "original" "live action" movie of "2016" to make Passengers sound somehow more impressive than it actually is?

I was supposed to be paraphrasing the Forbes article on why the movie is actually more successful than your delusional narrative attempts to make it seem. You constantly overlooking foreign box office is part of your dishonest spin.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

You constantly overlooking foreign box office is part of your dishonest spin.
How is it dishonest if I am CLEARLY stating "Domestic Box Office" each time?

And each time, I am comparing Domestic to Domestic; a true Apples to Apples comparison. If I were to compare Domestic of one movie to Global of another, then it really is not a true comparison.

The only time that type of comparison is of value, is if you are trying to demonstrate just how extreme a variance is.

For example, Ghostbusters (1984) earned $242.2M during it's Domestic Run.
Ghostbusters (2016) earned $229.1M during it's entire Global Run.

And the 1984 version is in 1984 dollars! Adjusting for inflation to 2016, it's Domestic take would have been $615.6M.

You are certainly a species of idiot, but I don't think you are so stupid as to be unaware of your own dishonesty. You know exactly what game you are playing and are quite conscious of why ignoring world revenue aids the perpetuation of your delusion.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

You are certainly a species of idiot, but I don't think you are so stupid as to be unaware of your own dishonesty.
Not sure why you are so TRIGGERED over this. It's not dishonest if I am CLEARLY stating the comparable criteria.

It seems like you are just upset that these are facts that you cannot deny with your baseless claims, because I've already provided the resources to make them... FACTS!

You know exactly what game you are playing and are quite conscious of why ignoring world revenue aids the perpetuation of your delusion.
Said the guy who thought "Passengers" grossed more than "Zootopia" and then when adding in another qualifier about making it live-action was clueless about "La La Land" being a bigger hit.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

It seems like you are just upset that these are facts that you cannot deny with your baseless claims, because I've already provided the resources to make them... FACTS!

The only facts that matter, which you keep avoiding, are that a film which got mostly bad reviews, had horrible marketing, and was stupidly put up against a franchise giant, is coming up on $300 million world wide at the box office.

That's what star power accomplishes. That's what your delusions make you pretend doesn't exist.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Mostly bad reviews? It was nominated for 2 Academy Awards!

had horrible marketing
It did? Sony was promoting this for nearly a year.

and was stupidly put up against a franchise giant
That I will certainly agree with.

is coming up on $300 million world wide at the box office.
I've not once denied that it is coming up on $300M, however you are neglecting the $110M production budget, the global marketing budget which has yet to be released, and the fact that the studio does not take home each dollar of box office sales.

Paul Feig said that Ghostbusters needed approximately $500M to break even, and that was made on a $144M production budget. Passengers needs about $100M more to be considered profitable.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Can you brief me on CIA's motivation to make satellite photography available for public? 5b4 To hide flat earth?

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Re: Exactly one month after Trump takes office IMDb message boards die.

Trump had absolutely goddamn fucking nothing to do with the IMDb's decision to shut the boards down. That's a big steaming pile of tinfoil hat-wearing conspiracy theory horseshit.

Yes, this is really me.
