Matt Dallas : This show should get cancelled, it sucks.

This show is horrible.
I mean come on, can't these people get a better idea for a show?
It's lame and absolutly boring.
Plus the dude that plays kyle couldn't act if his life depended on it.
I'm baffled by how it's even getting picked up for another season.

I know exactly what you're saying about the acting and the story line sucking like a Hoover. When it premiered in the summer of 2006 I was amazed that it even existed because of the CHEESE FACTOR, but it became a guilty pleasure. Because the acting was so hammy and laughable, I found it entertaining purely for that and Matt Dallas is cute. So yeah, It's pretty bad

well, roswell was a guilty pleasure (apart from john bartleys and jamie barbers brilliant camera work) (and brendan of course).

i think kyls xy suffers from being 14 rated. bress and gruber would have made a much better show if it was 16 rated.

it is still astonishingly good. i dont know much better pilot episodes.

as to acting: who's acting is laughable? while seeing the pilot i was absolutely stunned by dallas, who i think did it absolutely perfect.

wow thats really weird because i know alot of people who like it including me! i guess that everyone is intitled to their point of view, though. some people will like it and some people will hate it. maybe it's for science and mystery lovers only!lol

Frankly, I love it! However, I'm the one that likes the cheesy shows that always end up getting cancelled. But, there's no denying that he's hot and the show really started to get entertaining towards the end of the season. Give it a try!

I find the show awesome. I am glad its coming back for a 2nd season. Who care if the acting isnt great? It doesnt need to win an award lol. Who cares. If you dont like it, dont watch it I am sure there are a lot of movies/shows that you like that I dont care for.

i think the show is awesome- its one of my fave shows lol apart from lost, heroes, the oc, one tree hill, smallville, buffy the vampire slayer etc!

I'm also a huge fan! This show always keeps me coming back for more and I can't wait for the next season. I've already told so many people about it and they are also watching it and enjoying it. Matt's performance as Kyle is what makes the show so special. The innocence he portrays and those facial expressions of his just make you want to hug him and take care of him. The Tragers are also wonderfully cast and of course you can't go wrong with Nick Lea from X-files fame.

Someone has to say it. The show is a rip-off of Small Wonder and Alf.

lol, its not canceled, they are filming the second season. They did some today in vancouver canada (i was an extra)

Show suck and Matt Dallas couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. But there is always an audience for cheese and eye candy, which explains why soap operas are popular and also explains the overall low quality of TV and film nowadays.

If you don't want to watch this good show, don't. And what do you mean the acting is bad. Matt Dallas does a great job of playing the pure, innocent boy. And his child-like observations are sometimes quite funny. And how he raided the fridge, tasting everything was a great scene. And it's got Nick Lea, from X-files, who's hot as well.

The delivery of many of his lines are very Keanuish. Every now and then Dallas brings in some life but for the most part, he's very dull. I was wondering if he was just going to act that way for the first few episodes. I figured he has to act that way 'cause he's basically a "new born" person, but after watching all of season 1 and watching last night's season 2 premier, I guess that's just the way he acts.

Maybe he'll get better. I haven't seen him in anything other than this TV series so for all I know, he's purposely dull for this series.

It's getting a second season, and most likely a third, because it's an AMAZING show. What, exactly, is your idea for a "better show". Honestly, I think the plot is very interesting, and, obviously, the rest of the world does as well. So, tell me, what are these OUTSTANDING ideas you seem to think are missing from today's television??

And Matt Dallas is an incredible actor with loads of talent. If he weren't, he wouldn't be getting anymore roles.

For whomever said this is a rip off of Small Wonder and AlfI don't see the connection. Small Wonder, the girl was a robot, right? And Alf was an alien puppet.

I love this series and I'm very picky at what I watch.
I'm so sick of reality shows. This series keeps you on your toes at least it does with me and keeps me wondering what's next. I like shows like that.
I'm not a sci-fi geek but I like the concept, it's different and believable (maybe hard for some people to believe but yes, we've manage to clone several animals and I'm sure someone's working on cloning a person. It won't be long before someone masters it).

I think people who don't like it tend to not like shows because either it's not their genre, they don't get it or maybe they just don't like it because it actually makes them think. God forbid there's a show out there that makes you think.

I like the show. At first, it was hard to get into, but now I'm hooked and am anxiously awaiting the next episode.

And I think Matt Dallas is doing an excellent job for this role. I haven't seen many of his other movies, but from what I've seen of this, and a few of this other movies, I can tell that he's a really good actor, and only an actor as good as him could play this role so well.

Yout Entitled to your opinion maybe your an action scifi fan blood guts aliens not time for life or you know normal, like relationships to devlop that's what kyle xy has it has the sci-fi mystery element but also has the devloping relationships so it shouldn't be cancelled cause there a lots of fans out there if you don't like don't watch watch somthing else instead!
Plus if he's not a good actor you must see somthing A WHOLE LOT of other people don't plus he's new to acting (in these major roles) give it a chance, i'd like to see you do better.

Yes, Matt Dallas is a show. And he should be cancelled. You make sense.

I feel that Kyle XY is a great show - sensitively scripted, with a great cast and relevance to life (a nice vague claim, yes).
But, oh, you're wrong on something: Matt can act. In fact, it's his full time job so it's ACTUALLY what his life depends on. And the reason it's getting another season is that many people share these views, rather than yours.
