The Blacklist : Isabella Stone…
Re: Isabella Stone…
Aahhh, that's the question!!!!
Re: Isabella Stone…
I think if we all were to take a guess, we'd probably all guess the same person *cough*Mr.Kaplan*cough* Loved Red's final line about not being able to stand up.
I have a brain and good taste, so no, I'm not part of the target demographic.

Re: Isabella Stone…
that's the only plausible guess, unless isabella stone is someone we haven't seen before & they're introducing a new character.
but, mr Kaplan makes sense in a waybut she's playing a dangerous game to go after red that way.
I guess isabella was the ne watching him through the window when he was with that other guy.
Let's go get a drink & smoke a cigarette

Re: Isabella Stone…
Mr Kaplan's sister, I guess

I thought the previews for next week showed a different woman and gave a description that didn't necessarily fit the Kaplan we've seen so far. Still, Red's reaction was consistent with learning that someone he thought was dead (whether Kaplan or someone else) is alive and out to get him.
Re: Isabella Stone…
My source for watching The Blacklist doesn't have previews for the next show. So, maybe my guess about Mr.Kaplan isn't as obvious as I thought considering what you said about a description of the character.

Re: Isabella Stone…
I recognized the actress they showed in the previews, but can't think of her name. Hoping someone else knows. I will miss these boards!
Re: Isabella Stone…
the actress is Melora Hardin
Re: Isabella Stone…
Yes, Isabella Stone may not be Mr. Kaplan, but it might be someone that Mr. Kaplan hired.
Re: Isabella Stone…
Or nothing to do with Kaplan alone.
Something tells me he recognizes the name because she's connected to someone he probably had killed and she's now vying revenge.
Kaplan will come back I'm sure but probably not until May during sweeps.

Re: Isabella Stone…
It's just wishful thinking on my part. It's just satisfying to think she is out there somewhere plotting revenge. I don't like that they (the writers) left her in limbo like that after Red did such a horrible thing. We know she is alive, it would be interesting to see what she has been up to.
Re: Isabella Stone…
Oh agreed.
I was hoping that whoever took his money was Kaplan.
She has been the most exciting this season.
Hard to believe she's in her 70s. Looks great for her age.

Re: Isabella Stone…
Hard to believe! She is just as interesting as Red in many ways, a tough lady with an air of mystery.
Hey Geek_XX, just saw your post at reddit! Now I don't feel so alone!
Not quite sure how to make emoticons there, or perhaps they are frowned upon I don't think I've ever seen any over there come to think of it.
OH RATS no emoticons!

Re: Isabella Stone…
As much as I'd like to see Mr. Kaplan mess with Red, after tonight's episode I hope that she's not the one who hired Isabella Stone. Several innocent people were killed or almost killed by Isabella's team in the quest to spoil Red's reputation. In particular, the man running the humanitarian foundation had an honest and heroic life and his organization was clean. I have trouble seeing Mr. Kaplan being willing to destroy a person like that, regardless of her feelings about Red at this point.
Re: Isabella Stone…
Well maybe Isabella Stone was much like Solomon, he didn't care what he had to do to get the job done. (I'm sure that Kirk or Scottie didn't want Solomon to almost kill Liz in that traffic accident.) Maybe the things Isabella did were independant of whoever hired her. (It's sort of like what Fitch did, he hired Anslo Garrick to capture Red by attacking the post office but was Fitch to blame for all those men (and Luli) that were killed? Seems like they made Fitch out to be a hero in the end, when he died but he was not.)

I agree. After this episode and the deaths/near deaths, I doubt Mr. Kaplan is behind this. Shewasn't the kind of person who would do this.
I think another old nemesis of Red has risen. And when Red is completely backed into a corner, Mr. Kaplan will come back to save him. She didn't seem too mad at Red the last time we saw her - she said that she did something that hurt Red so much that he lost his head.
Re: Isabella Stone…
Yes, my first guess was Mr Kaplan but somehow that doesn't seem her style forcing a woman to kill someone in such a terrible way
Isabella Stone…
