What is she doing in New Zealand?
I wonder if she's visiting Peter Jackson, which would be VERY interesting.
Just checked. Rotorua is in the middle of New Zealand's northern island. Masterton, where Jackson lives, near Wellington - or did two years ago - is on the southern end of the same island about 250 miles away, a five-hour drive. But ONLY a 30-minute flight. There's a regional airport right in Rotorua, with daily flights to Wellington.
But, I might be getting ahead of myself.

Probably visiting Rose McIver, who's from New Zealand. They're still close friends (http://www.interviewmagazine.com/culture/rose-mciver/) and judging from McIver's Instagram, she herself landed in the country a few weeks ago and left just yesterday.

Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon are in New Zealand at the moment as well, which may signify nothing as far as Saoirse is concerned. But I just thought I'd mention it.
