It also gets better. I wouldn't skip it myself. And there are some wonderful things about season 2, a fabulous trial, a great love story for Dr. Enys. I don't think it gets worse, exactly, but it is a drama. Good things happen as well and it's all beautifully done. And how can you miss watching Aidan Turner ride a horse, among other things? Plus, there are some uproariously funny scenes, too!
