They're worthless idiots crying about things they don't even understand because they've never actually read a history book and don't know that blacks were never enslaved in canada but lots of irish eastern europeans and lower caste francophone immigrants were.

For the first sixty years of its nationhood (while it was a french colony) slavery was legal but not widely practiced in canada, the few slave owners in canada vastly preferred to use white europeans as their slaves because they could handle the climate conditions wouldn't complain and most importantlyTHEY WERE CHEAP.

African slaves on the other hand were expensive difficult to train and were generally considered to be "too stubborn and stupid" add to that the fact they couldn't handle the climate conditions in that part of canada and you'll quickly see why they weren't used.

The ironic thing about slavery in canada is that it was actually native slaves who were often used as overseers and work gang bosses because they could speak multiple languages (most were taught french and some english)and knew the duties required.
