Crimson Peak : Watching this movie is like going on a date with a "dumb blonde"

At first you're enamored, drawn to the visuals, the clothing, etc. You're excited because this pretty girl is with you and you want to find out more.

Two hours into the date, you're starting to wonder if this is it. Yeah, the woman is hot, but she doesn't really have all that much depth and you're starting to get bored.

By the end of the date, you realize that while it looked good, there wasn't all that much substance beneath the visuals.

It's a *beep* moviethat is all.

I've seen Lifetime movies with better writing and more suspense than this one. What a waste of talent.

Worst 2nd half movie ever , they should cut the 2nd half and keep only the 1st half so they don't waste our time .

Time parallels aside, that's a pretty much perfect analogy!
