Vanderpump Rules : Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
We spent around 5 grand on our wedding total with a group vegas trip and loved it. No invites on paper. I say save the money.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
that's awesome
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I thought they were ridiculous, not to mention hard to read. If anything, they should've been a souvenir, aka optional, you could give people after the wedding, not the invitations. What an absolute waste of money.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I think her invitations were a little tacky.
However, I shouldn't really talk. I wish I had used a professional printer for my invitations instead of doing them myself. I mailed an invitation to myself and it was all smeared and hard to read. I was really embarrassed and felt like a total loser. Other people saw this! So humiliating.

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I thought they were tacky, I honestly can't believe she spent $18.50 on them. Also I dont understand the towel thing. I mean does anyone really want to keep that ting. I guess I could use it as a clean up rag, but its not like I'm gonna put it out for decoration in my house. I also dont understand why invitations these days are so dang big. I remember when they use to just come in an envelope!!
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
They were horrible and stupid. What a waste.
What about her stupid bridesmaid invites too? With the balloon and chalkboard and other nonsense? Katie needs to step away from Pinterest.

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
The thought or inspiration was interesting, but the final productno. They were far too expensive and who'd treasure them after the nuptials? For the amount they spent and time involved, I'd come up with something fun for less.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
Maybe for a save-the-date, but an invite? Stupid as hell!
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
A waste of money! I wouldn't even use that if it had my own name on it, let alone someone else's. Also, how much did those cost to ship?
Any thoughts on Katie's $18.50 invitations ??

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I didn't like her invitations. My husband and I got our invites from weddingpaperdivas.com. Each invite was about $1.50 each. We got to personalize our invites with our pictures on it; they turned out amazing. She should have gone that route instead of trying to be fancy about it

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
To top it off they were delivered in the same box in which In N Out serves your burger and fries,

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I thought that they looked as though they could have been duplicated at home for much less than $18.50.

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I just got married in June and in planning for the wedding something I learned was, that as happy as people are for you, no one is as happy for you as you are for yourself, meaning all these personalized gifts for your guests don't mean anything to them. She wanted a 'keepsake' but really Katie, in 10 years do you think your guests will still have these?? We opted not to do favors at our wedding and instead I got Ben and Jerry's come and serve ice cream for an hour as a special treat! I think my guests liked that better than a keepsake 'rag' or a candle with our wedding date on it!
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
A towel! I couldn't believe it. Even a tea towel. Just send paper ones. She's so dumb, Schwartz is a pushover, or it's all just fake.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
Oh he's "whipped!" If she was something special, I'd say fine, but the self-indulgence of all these women just nauseates me! The drinking, changing of teams, and making an outcast of 1 or more of her so called friends makes her stuck in "high school!"

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
Exactly! To the majority of guests, it's just an event at which you have to spend a full day (longer if it's out of town) and money on a gift ( and even MORE money if it's out of town, ugh). And nowadays, most end in divorce. I don't care for a keepsake, especially if it's a rag!!! Lolol!!
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
You nailed it, no one is as happy about your wedding except maybe your partner! The tea towels really were a waste of money.. I was SO surprised Schwartz didn't put his foot down being that he's cheap. They could have done paper invites, saved some cash and helped defer travel expenses for their guests.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I think the idea was nice, and she probably was thinking about the cost along the lines of "this is my WEDDING! Money is no object and if anyone says otherwise I'll throw a *beep* fit". She's probably trying to outdo Scheanas wedding also, because she knows people will be comparing the two naturally. Anywho, the end result was nothing flash. And I'm the type that would keep and display those sort of items.

Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
God awful.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
I thought they were t-shirts @ first! until I heard the price :-(
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
For more elaborate invitations like that, I feel it makes sense for the bridal party and immediate family to have those as a keepsake. For the hundred other guests, subtle invitations would have been more practical.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
when she said "tea towel" (a million times and counting) i envisioned a small piece of linen with minimal info embroidered on it. what i saw was laughably hideous and HUGE. ew. i would toss that right in the trash.
Re: Thoughts on Katie's Invitations?
Plus, they aren't even a pretty color or design. They're beige and brown and ugly.

Lol at Lisa's reaction to opening a box filled with straw and a rag.
