Politics : Will the Dems take back the House and Senate next time?

Seeing what a disaster of a presidency this is starting out to be, I think if the vote was held tomorrow, they would.
The Annoying Orange knows that his ass is on the line. Big time and unless he somehow gets it together, there will be an impeachment if the Dems. take it all back.

Towing cows? What does that even mean?

We already do support people who actually work.

By raising minimum wage, creating permanent new jobs by rebuilding infrastructure
and by introducing new technologies to the public that other nations already have.

Expanding on public transportation, and reducing the damage that a cyber attack
can do by reducing automation and putting people back in those jobs.

That is just a broad overview, but I think it is an achievable goal.

Due to gerrymanding, Dems need to get at least 55% of the House popular vote to get a majority of the House seats. That's tough in a presidential election year, and even tougher in midterm elections because Dem voters won't get off their lazy butts and vote when the White House is not in play.

At for the Senate, also probably not. The party makeup of the seats that are up in 2018 favors the GOP.

The Democrats will never win another national election. Not until they begin to move towards the middle. Until then, they are an obsolete relic of a disturbing era.

Arizona, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming

Dems must win 5 of those plus defend 25 of their own seats to win the Senate. So no.

I'm basing this idea on how Americans are outraged and showing it at town hall mtgs. concerning their Obama Care.
That is something that should remain untouched if the GOP wants to stay in power.
If Trump is going to improve it, as he says, then I think he had better be damn careful with it.
People are getting pissed off at this admin, and no one can blame them.
Keep 'em angry for the next two years and I think we could see some changes in DC.

You're basing it on liberals disturbing republican town halls.

Obamacare is the single greatest issue that Trump and republicans were elected to remedy - repeal and replace.

That is now. The election is 2 years away,and with a democrat having a memory span of about 2 minutes the Republicans will win again.

Not with the same arrogant attitude that cost them the elections. I haven't seen one Democrat who learned the lesson. They are still blaming someone else

The House, yes. The Senate will be nearly impossible to take back.

First of all they need to stop the street agitators. Nothing sticks in a person's mind like having to explain to the boss or spouse that they were late because of a demonstration. And destroying a person's business because it's on the same block as the target doesn't help either. Get Hollywood back to making entertainment rather than speeches goes a long way too. They've got the MSM in their pocket so they really don't need Martin Sheen, Et Al. And after the revelations of WikiLeaks, they've got a long way to go to regain America's trust.

That is the general idea, and that also includes
voting Republican state governors out of office.
Whenever possible.

I call it the "Not even a dog catcher." plan.
But still, it will take persistent effort over a great many years
to undo all the damage that Trump has caused.

But don't get discouraged, don't get caught up in thinking about the distance.
As all seemingly impossible great things are accomplished one step at a time
by putting one foot in front of the other.

The way those violent protests are going, Trump could be made President again if the elections were held tomorrow. NO ONE wanted Clinton and it is still that way.

NEVER expect absolutes in politics. The Democrats were supposed to be "done"
after Truman. The Republicans were supposed to be "done" after Watergate.
And Hillary was the shoe-in in 2008 and 2016.
