Meredith Snaider : Why haven't I seen more of Mereidth Snaider

This woman played an excellent vampiress, or faux vampiress, as it were, but for Sam's end-stage alcoholism must say, it's a shame to see no more credits next to her name - i'm a big fan of Indy Films and this actor's ability to escape overacting the role when the tendency to do so would be tempting to a lesser talent, was just the first sign of her good decision making early on in the film - as for her performance as a whole, she pulled it off without a blemish extremely impressive pulling me into the film. SO Larry, HIRE THIS WOMEN FOR YOUR NEXT FILM or get her name out there to other directors. Would like to see more - If she can pull that off in her first role, i think she could prove to be quite a contender, no matter how many years have elapsed.

Meredith is beautiful, with a great voice and a sexy style passive yet aggressive. This is an actress that should be getting more work. Does anyone know if she perhaps changed her stage name? Maybe acting was a quick dream of hersshe succeeded and then left for other challenges in life. Please let me know what you've heard.

i've asked this question many times over the last few years, trying to find anything about this actress, but with no response. she has literally vanished off the face of the earth.

she shows up no where on google, in people searches, or in other movies. there's no mention of her being either dead or alive anywhere.

fans who have sent emails to the director via online discussions or whatever have never found out anything about her.

i would think this was a marketing tie-in with the movie, except there has never been any attempt to market the fact that she has disappeared.

i think i read somewhere that the director dated her briefly or something; so maybe this was a relationship gone bad and she disappeared never wanting to have anything to do with him or the industry again. the director certainly himself has been tightlipped about whatever happened to her. it seems very strange that an actress in her first movie would vanish after being critically received so well. who would just disappear?

maybe she changed her name or got married? maybe the director killed her? maybe she committed suicide? maybe she died from a drug overdose? maybe she went underground? maybe she really was a vampire? :)

time to hire a private investigator!

I wish I knew. I haven't even seen the whole movie yet and I'm here looking to see her in another movie. She's so fine.

We would all probably be disappointed. She probably looks nothing like she did in Habit, which is unfortunately what happens to attractive women over the passage of time.

Habit's such a great movie . . . someone named Brendan3 on here claims she got married and lives in Brooklyn teaching kids. He didn't elaborate on how he knows this. Could happen, not everyone gets into acting wanting to be famous, and you never know how your life will change when you fall in love.

Yes, she is alive and well (or was a few years ago). Yes, she only made the one movie and is now married and not acting. I know this because I met her briefly when I stayed at her mother's bed and breakfast in New England for a couple of months about 5 years ago. She acted for a while and then moved on to other things. She looks pretty much like she did in the movie (as of 5 years ago). I think some people just decide that acting isn't for them.

Habit was Larry Fessenden's film. He was in total control of everything and seems to have had a major impact on the acting from everyone. It would appear that Meredith is not an exceptional actress and decided to pursue other things. She came out well in this film because of Larry.
