Cinderella : Explanation please…

Why does Ella tell her name to the Prince as Cinderella at the end? It wasn't her name and it was used as a way of keeping Ella down by her stepmother and stepsisters.

At that point, she had fully transformed into Cinderella and embraced it. Cinderella was now her true self, which she presented to the prince. It wasn't a name to be ashamed of anymore. It was now a name that empowered her.
