Deception : Post deleted

I do not need to see this first thing this morning!!! Ugh!!!! I hate NBC!!!!!

According to HUB, Deception is likely to be renewed. This was just updated as of yesterday. See link below. At this point.. I am waiting to hear the word from NBC. Fingers still crossed!!!

I knew I should have stayed away from the boards today. I just saw a tweet on Tumblr that said the writers would sending a S2 pitch to NBC next week. I can almost understand giving fans false hope, but why writers?

Cran, I just sent a thread showing how to send an message to NBC. I just sent them a message. I also saw on another sight that its "likely to be Renewed" and the article was dated 3-26-2013. I sent a message on Tumbler encouraging fands to go to NBC.com and voice your opinion about Deception's renewal. Lets hope it works.

TVbythenumbers is just a site that goes by, well numbers in deciding whether a show is going to get axed. They know just as much as we do, I'm not saying they are wrong or right, I will just wait until NBC makes an official statement.

Here's why the TV Ratings sites don't always know what the future of a show holds especially if the fandom gets involved.

I agree and not to mention that when two day time soaps were cancelled, a lot of viewers were upset, voiced their opinions and now they are bringing them back but I think its online but never the less, my point is..I think if we as fans do all that we can, someone will hear us and listen!! Strength in numbers!!!

i think the fact that Go On has done so well with The Voice lead in is an indication that if Deception had The Voice as lead in the ratings would have been higher. This is THE ONE TIME i hope they look at Scandal in comparison to Deception. Scandal ratings improved almost by 1m in the demo between seasons. I hope that makes them want to stick with it and give it a stronger lead in. Chicago Fire, The Voice or even SVU.

Toonmili, I am really hoping that NBC takes that into consideration before just cancelling it all together. I think that if a drama show is not doing so well but has the potential to do well, the network should try different avenues first before just taking it off tv all together. Especially if you see the fan base growing which in this case it has. Deception started off slow but from mid season to the end, the fan base had improved as did the ratings. I think viewers started watching because of Julian and Joanna and the chemistry between Wes and Meagan sizzled on screen.

I've been reading a lot about Smash (fans seem to know this is over esp with the Saturday movement), the comedies, and of course what happened to Do No Harm, and I don't understand the benefit of waiting if not for giving the show a chance. Revolution is back, so I don't know if their performance after the long break will play a part.

On a positive note Cran, I just read on the TVHUB sight that Deception would most likely be renewed because of all the other shows on NBC not doing so well. I personally feel that if NBC was going to cancel this show, they would have done so already and not make us wait until May. I did also read that Smash has been cancelled.
