Deception : Edward

When the show first started, I thought he was a d!ck, but he quickly became my favorite character. Tate Donovan did a really good job bringing him to life. What a sad "ending" for him though. I wish they hadn't killed off his wife in the end. It's sad to think that he's headed down a dark and twisted road. I wanted to see him have a happy ending more than anyone else on the show.

I agree,Edward has grown on me as well. I can't wait to see what happens when he finds out his OWN DAD KILLED HIS DAUGHTER !

And forget their mom too.

I hate they killed her too. But yes, what a stark difference in the characters of Edward and Robert. They were portrayed the opposite of what they were shown to be in the beginning of the show.

Robert is not the great guy he seemed to be, and Edward was a true family man looking out for his wife and kids. But not so sure now. Still, he was no murderer up until the finale.

I like Edward and now they moved his character over to the dark side. In my opinion he's still not as wicked as Robert is though. Edward was trying to protect his family from all the madness of being a member of the Bowers family and he ended up getting the short end of the stick. He's been through the most this season and killing off Samantha just through him over the edge. Still dont know why the writers killed her off unless they wanted to move Eddy's character to the darker side and to bring him back to the Bowers mansion to live. Now they are all under the same roof which should be interesting for S2.

I think Robert telegraphed it in the finale when he told Edward that he'd been where he was. Edward's vulnerable state brought him back to his dad. In that last scene, he seemed resigned to the fact that Robert has been there for him when he needed him (i.e. Kimberly Yaeger). I think Edward will be the son Robert can influence or at the very least keep close b/c it won't be Julian now.

I love this show. So many opportunities for these characters.

Cran your right. Julian will now be watching Robert with a side eye now!! I can see him telling Joanna about his conversation with her mom and him and Joanna doing some investigation of their own to find out the truth. I hope they bring back Beverly too. This is why we need a season 2 so badly. I got a strong feeling we will get what we want!

Cece - idk but I get the feeling we will get s2. Honestly, I would do back flips if this happens.
I love how your mind thinks. I can totally see Julian and Joanna discussing his mom's death and Roberts involvement. I fear though that Julian might find out about Joanna being a cop this way. But, it might be a good thing. Maybe if we get s2, Julian will only flip a bit but totally understand about Joanna and why she lied. He is so compassionate I can see him understanding and not taking too long to forgive her. Wishful thinking.

I am sure Julian will find out she's a cop. I think we will get the same sort of reaction from him when she thought he murdered Vivian. Julian will be hurt in the beginning and feel like what they shared was not real but it was all to get close to him and his family to investigate them. I dont think he can stay mad at her for too long. I think he will come to realize that she came back and did it all for her friend Vivian, who happens to be his sister.

CeCe, Julain will find out she's a cop, but not in the best circonstances. I bet you he will find out after he declared his love for her (like any good drama like Scandal, Fitz found out about Olivia suppose betrayal). He will be hurt like when he lost his mom, will question every single thing about. Don't forget, he can't deal with that kind of pain and she knows that. She will have to prove that her feelings for him are realand pure. And maybe he will also found out about the past relationship she had with Will. OMG, that part will explosive. I can see his face now, so hurt and betrayed. In time, he will eventually forgive her because he always loved her and will understand why she did it. The two persons that Julian ever loved is his mom and her.

Silk you are so right!! I just want these two to have a happy ending but this is tv and we know how that goes. The writers are not going to make it easy for us Jolian fans but when he finds out, I just hope its not a thing where we have to wait all season with these two mad at each other like Scandal's Liv and Fitz. Shonda has wrecked my nerve with Scandal..Lol.. First it was Edison now its Jake. Ugh!!!!!

You are right when Julian admits he loves her and wants to move on and have a life with her, thats when he will find out and it will most likely be Robert or someone else telling him she's a cop which adds fuel to the fire!!!

Yep, I believe that's how it will happen too. I'm both hoping for and dreading that episode.

Robert would be too easy. I think Julian will either catch her in cop-mode or Will reveals it somehow due to his lack of control when it comes to J/J.

CeCe- now that is the one thing that I believe will bring Julian around. He has loved Joanna since they were kids. He's even said as much. The fact that she came back under the circumstances she did will not keep him from her for long. In fact I believe he will come to appreciate the fact that she cared enough to risk her life to do it and in the process she came back to him. If Vivian had never died he may not have ever saw her again.

lvrt, You are right. He will forgive her because her motive. And if it wasn't for Viv death's, this reunion would never taken place or not. No one knows. Julian has miney he could have easily paid a private investigator to search for her since he said time and time again he thought of her for years.
