Politics : Impeaching Trump isnt going ot happen, and here's why

You need a 2/3rds majority in Congress for starters, so some scurrilous MSNBC / Kos bullsh-t aint gonna get it done.

The other reason is that if Democrats do get a majority back and try it, them impeachment is just going to be a common process that one party uses against the other from now on, every election, and the country will essentially be ungovernable.

I believe it requires only a majority in the House to impeach. In the Senate it's two/thirds to remove from office.

You could say the Clinton impeachment was based on B.S. too. Not a 'high crime', at any rate.

If he colluded with Putin to hack the democratic party he must be impeached. The GOP will not be a problem.

The DNC is not the federal government, nor are they authorized to have anything which would make hacking them a threat to national security.

Odds are if any collusion exists, the mechanism was built long before Trump announced his candidacy.

The problem for you is that you can't control how far down that rabbit-hole it goes once you fall in. We certainly wouldn't want Putin to report that, yes he did, using the keys Obama or Clinton gave him, now do we?

Here's why it might happen: even Republicans might be so offended by something Trump does, or he might do something so egregious, a 2/3 majority may be a cakewalk. And Trump isn't smart enough to resign before it could happen, like Nixon. It's not wishful thinking, everything Trump and his administration do is a train wreck.

You are lazily assuming that at no point will Republicans be happy to dump him for Pence.
In time, Trump voters who were hoping that he will improve their lives will realize that he scammed them, and then his approval rating will sink low enough that Republicans will decide they can afford to get rid of him.
