Bates Motel : Didn't make sense to me.

Didn't make sense to me.

Norman finally had his mother to himself. Why kill her and commit suicide?

Re: Didn't make sense to me.

He didn't kill her because of Romero.

He killed her and attempted suicide because he felt that neither of them could continue living with everything that had recently happened in their lives. He thought perhaps Norma might be committing murders after he discovered the suitcase with bloody clothes in the attic. Or it could have been him committing the murders, which meant that he deserved to die. But, Norma had told him on a previous occasion that if he ever killed himself, she would take her life as well, because they were supposed to be together and were the same person. And he likewise, could not live in a world without Norma. So he thought it best that the two of them just die together so that they could both finally be at peace in the afterlife or in death.
