White House Spokesman says the wall will pay for itself. That means that we pay for it, and it will prove to be such a good investment that we will eventually recoup that money.

Without even examining that optimistic assessment, at least let it be known that, less than one month into his term, Trump has officially pronounced his most repeated and conspicuous campaign promise to be dead.

Mexico obviously will not pay for it directly. They might indirectly, through incrased tarriffs or even by the logic in the OP's source that says we will save health care and welfare benefit costs, which implies Mexico will cover those costs since those individuals will remain in Mexico. The OP's source does not rule out indirect payment, and the Trump Admin has been touting indirect payment for some time.

It's my contention that far too much of the 'News' is nothing more than Opinion pieces. And since everyone has different opinions on any number of subjects, we should be very careful about letting the Media give their opinions on what is or isn't factual.
