Alaskan Bush People : Alternative message board site?

Does anybody know a good alternative message board site to IMDb when it goes away? I enjoy some of the reality shows, along with some of the classics, and enjoy reading the opinions of folks. Thanks in advance for any replies.

These are the sites that I'm aware of so far, and that sound promising bsowles. According to one member, the Got Board has almost no censorship, so I think I will concentrate on that one to start. And of course, I don't think that Railing Kill will mind us heading over to his site, or his Facebook page, and posting comments over there.

Looks like it might be a pretty good site rmontro, and already has many of the same shows in its database that you have here. I briefly checked it out, and it doesn't appear to be too uptight of a site. Can you cut up and have fun there as we do here?

So far from what I've seen, the previously tv forums looks to be the closest to what we have here, so check it out guys, and leave your opinions here if you wish.

I'll see you over there then, wanton. I'm under the same name there as well. I've only been a member for a few days, so I can't really comment on what they tolerate. It would be a shame if it were over moderated. Looks okay so far though.

I checked it out rmontro, and it appears to be pretty relaxed. I saw someone cussing over there so they can't be too strict. Already posted in the little house on the prairie board, in which I was active here at IMDB. Yes, I will see you over there.

I don't think they're any smaller than the IMDB boards. Of course, it depends on the show. The Alaskan Bush People board is probably one of the smaller ones, both here and there. But like you say, it wouldn't take many of us to build it up.

One thing I don't like is the way they have the topics on the Alaskan Bush People board. They have the subjects split up mainly by season, whereas here we did it more by episode. I know other boards over there do it by episode, so I'm thinking maybe we could change that, especially since it is debatable as to what constitutes a season.

I haven't been there that long though, so I don't have that much of a feel for how it's run, maybe that would be stepping on someone's toes lol. I'd hate to start a new topic, only to have some moderator fold it into another thread, or worse delete it altogether.

Yes, I noticed that in the little house forum, they have one thread for general tv episodes. I'm not used to it either, and probably won't head over there full time until the very end, though I should, since posting here is now pretty much pointless.

Did you check out rickathedj's Facebook page for the survival shows? If you head over to dual survival or survivorman, he left the link there. I'm signed up there under the same name as well, but it's eightyseven, as opposed to 87. Don't really think that social media is really conducive to these types of discussions, but if nothing else, it's a meeting ground and a way to stay in touch.

I did sign up for reddit, because they have a lot of different topics, but the way it's set up is kind of odd. I like Previously.tv, but they don't cover movies, so I'll have to find a board to discuss those too.

There's the Movie DB rmontro, which is the closest to IMDB that I have seen so far, but they do appear to have a heavy hand when it comes to censorship. If nothing else, I'll see you, and hopefully many of the others at Previously TV, or Railing Kill's site.

Sure thing rmontro. I've also posted over in the Alaskan Bush People forum over at TMDB, but it's still a very small board as of now. Previously TV has more activity, but I'll probably go back and forth between the two.
