It's really hard for me to rank the, honestly, since they are all masterpieces. What I can say is that The Dark Knight and Inception are my favorites (also my favorite movies of all times). My least favorite is probably Following or Insomnia.

Fantastic Four (2015) maybe? lol how pathetic that is.

A 6/10 is what I consider 3*. They're by no means bad films, I just don't consider them great. Nolan is all show, his stories lack substance and after the initial spectacle they have little to no replay value. Memento is his best film, it handles story in a completely revolutionary way that blew my mind. I want to like Nolan but his films are frustratingly dull and, in the case of TDKR, straight up awful.

All these movies you've mentioned have received great reviews from critics and audiences alike. But I clearly remember you on some other topic. You were defending that awful movie known as Iron Man 3. And your main point into defense of that movie was the fact that it received good ratings from critics. You said that no one can call Iron Man 3 a bad movie because it received good reviews. So why you say that these movies are the worst, if they (according to you logic) clearly not? Isn't that hypocrisy, hm?

Your memory is not very good as I have never seen Iron Man 3 and therefore wouldn't have defended it. I'm going to assume (and it is a safe assumption given your memory) that your taste is as good as your memory.

**I love all of these so much so even though following is at the bottom of both lists, I'd say that's either an 8/10 or 9/10. Most of them are 10/10 because I think they are so good! Even though some of his movies may have MINOR plot holes, they are ALL incredibly entertaining! You wouldn't say the Mona Lisa is terrible if there was a little smudge on it, would you?

I've greatly enjoyed all of them, though. "Worst" doesn't really do what I think of his filmography justice, I think it's excellent. Hopefully people (critics and the Academy) don't stop taking him seriously JUST because he's made a name for himself in the big budget blockbuster game with over half of his films to date being that type of movie. He's making films that are commercially successful and accessible, certainly, but there's a great depth and classically stacked cinematic merit to the artistic sides of those films that make them unlike anything else that anyone's making these days. If he refuses to go back small and direct "Oscar bait" films like everyone seems to want him to, I think it's all the better for the audience. His films are at one exhilarating, beautiful to look at, and emotionally moving experiences that take high concepts, blend them with 'broad stroke' storytelling that wonderfully involves some rich detail-oriented design and plot devising, and allows incredibly talented actors to really craft unique, charming characters in unique, charming films, only ever supporting his exposition with both dialogue AND visual payoffs throughout the film. He's my favorite director working today if you couldn't tell

nolan has no terrible films but interstellar is his weakest the ending to that one is just weak its a good movie but his weakest next to insomnia prestige is really great an so is batman begins rises is great but the weakest of the 3 inception an the dark knight are masterpieces memento is another really great movie following is another great film his new war film looks great an prolly on par with inception an dark knight
